...when we didn't have replay badges and couldn't replay content? Or... when we couldn't just WALK into content whenever we felt like it? OR... when we had to GRIND our alts what that to make with the featings and therefore gets the skill points? I'm sure this is a thread that's been made before. I ain't complaining. I'm just being four year nostalgic like. We've come a LONG way since launch. If you remember that one time, feel free to leave that memory with this thread! Thanks fer reading!

Remember when completing the Fortress of Solitude trilogy was a huge accomplishment? Or when people got very excited to fight Brainiac? Or when people with Light powers were hated for being more powerful because of constructs? And people didn't know you had to purchase the power, so they 'grinded' to try and get the ring? And when there was no world-wide chat, everyone used Shout, and no one used Trade?
No, no... there was that one time... no, wait... Okay. There was a BRIEF period where there was no complaining. I try not to count server shutdowns, though.
I remember. I still prefer what we have today That will never ever be fun for me, so I'm glad I can pass some "feating" for my alts.
What are you talking about? During server shutdowns is when I hear the most complaints. Hell this is maybe the only time I complain myself ^^
+ If you were flying and went into an instance...when you left you were immediately falling to the ground. + After one particular update the server lag was excruciatingly bad. So much so, people decided to not play content and go into Central City to get the Reaper Feat. Seriously, people were standing around waiting for them to spawn. + I just started playing the game, saw someone go down. And being a hero I picked them up. Only to realize they were a villain. And their friends weren't happy about it. + Seeing 16+ people in Gotham open world trying to kill Tala. And all of them wiping. + Walking into Ace Chemicals for the first time. And ten seconds later asking in chat, "What the hell just happened to me?" + Doing the Hive Moon Alert, I looked up and smiled when I saw the Watchtower.
^^^ Not as much as it used to be. Now, about 75% of the time the game will put you on solid ground or the top of a building. This was added during an update several months ago.
Used to always exit the Little Bohemia Police Station with Haasts and fly her all the way up before logging out, when logging back in would see how close to the ground she falls before re-activating flight
