I've been playing since the start and my main STILL has yet to score a prom box with the noble warrior legs... got everything else. Also been using replays like mad on Throne of the Dead and still haven't seen the ancient amazon stuff other that the chest and back.. in 5o runs as of tonight at 1630 EST. Any helpful ideas?
Yea you can get the Noble Warrior legs from the auction house for a few million and the Ancient Amazon stuff from the style vendor for 70 marks a piece.
Buy it off the Broker, or try and trade. The chances of ever seeing that in a Lock Box are extra slim now.
unless you have no issue with spending money resetting old raids i would stop resetting them. everyone has their own superstitions regarding loot drops. mine is if you've been obsessively hunting for something give it a rest for a bit. if its an instance with a daily reset don't run it for a week or two. find something else to grind. then go back. when i do this what im looking for usually drops into my lap. if its a raid that resets every week just run it once for a week or two. then if you want to replay it replay it. this little system of mine has been a little more difficult to follow through on since we went into monthly content but following my own instincts my main is also decked out in a full set of elite gear and i have the op helm, neck and a pair of hands (one modded for both of my roles). I've scored lots of rare drops over the years this way (brainiac invader chest and rare base items and plans, all the rune sets come to mind). some players try to play the "luck system" thats been put in place that increases your chance at a rare drop if you haven't had one for many boss drops. to this i say thee nay. trying to figure out or only running and rerunning the same instance hoping your luck will increase will only drive you crazy and even if you get to that point where you get that guaranteed drop...theres no guarantee its the piece you want. as for the noble warrior legs i am surprised theyre so expensive in the broker now. there was a time you could buy them for very little. the fastest way to generate in game cash is by running lots of easy low level content, salvaging everything and selling off complex materials in the broker. you can also farm exos as well but the current state of the market complex mats will produce a better, faster yield. the game has a cruel sense of humor built into it. it just does. When home turf first went live my main very quickly scored the ten point feat for completing all of the solo instances around ace chemicals. my main alt however has never gotten the "outbreak" mission where you run around and spray infected ads and then end up fighting the big mutant gorilla (or whatever it was) and i ran that daily mission to death until feat unlocking became available. i just said !@#$ it and i unlocked it.
50 runs! Definitely buy them from the rare style vendor. You could have earned 500 marks running BD reg instead and bought 7 pieces! You should also have lots of stacks of complex materials after 50 runs of salvaging gear. A stack sells around 200k, so you should have enough cash to buy the style after 50 raids.

Yea back when prom boxes were changed and the nu52 styles were added they dropped a ton. Were u playing at that time? I finished all those style sets on 5 toons at that time because they dropped so much. As far as amazon noble stuff it drops in all 3 raids not just thrones. So running all 3 every week should complete the style. Plus there is always the rare style vendor. Amazon noble is on there iirc.
