So as of today my main has all the pieces of the Flashpoint CR 295 armor but a set of legs. Now by this time net week , or sooner depending on amount of time I can play, I should have the $$$ to buy those legs and complete the set.. Okay so just to check in other DLCs once a player gets 1 toon to that point the prices dropped and it cost much less to buy a second set for THAT toon P L U S .... those reduced prices applied to any other alts that player owned. My main has all that bright shiny new armor at FULL PRICE. So do the other 5 ALTS I play that are all in the CR 330 + range get to buy that same armor without spending over 700 Wayne Casino Tokens? Most Have over half the amount needed to buy a set now.. but I am holding off to see if the disciount still works. Has to be a ton of players with full sets by now so anyone have the answer?
You need to buy the style feat on those toons to get the discount. And there is a bonus way of doing it which I'll try to word correctly... My main buys elite role gear 1st. Once that feat pops, I get dps elite gear half price. My main alt then buys the elite style feat. He doesn't get renown but now gets regular vendor gear half off which then pops another style feat. So now my lowest alt can buy the purple gear at a discount when he buys the associated feat. Think that explains it
It's been that way for quite a while. That's why I usually pick a toon (either my main or one that could use the stat boost) and run Elite and get that discount from the top down.
You don't need the feat for the regular style to get the discount on the purple gear. The style feat for the elite gear gives a discount on elite, regular and purple vendor gear. (Except weapons, rings etc.)
