Que for Raids

First off I know all the run with your league things and all of that talk. I am just curious how much luck other people have had with this. I am part of a small leaue, me and 2 of my buds of nearly 20 years now. All pretty well geared and battle tested on here. Roughly low 80's cr and around 90 sp. We like being on our own because we quit the game for a while partially because we couldn't really find a league that made us comfortable. We were in a great league but we just couldn't play enough to keep up and felt like we were not carrying our part.

Anyway back on track. I am really not a fan of the lfg channell and want to get into the new raids. We prefer the simplicity of just getting in a que. I have only done this a few times for Raids and always joined somebodies wipefest and we all know that isn't usually a fun atmosphere to come into. My point is do you pretty much always end up doing this or do you get to actually start the Raid?

There's some times where I managed to start the raid, though 90% of my experience has been with groups that have been a wipefest and somehow we manage to get through them..

Srry bro, queing in for raids will never be a good idea. LFG is your friend tbh.

Have to agree with Doc Holliday here. Since the introduction of LFG, I find requests more than ample demand for my characters progression. Even before LFG, queueing into raids was a pretty dangerous spectacle. USPC-wise I wouldn't recommend it, I know LFG may not be your cup of tea but it doesn't hurt to have it for PuGing.

Thanks for the feedback and it sounds like the answer is what I figured. I don't mind helping finish when i que into a wipefest but it is a little frustrating to not get all the loot in an instance because you missed bosses.

The queue system does not work for raids, which is why I have been asking for a LFG menu since this game launched. It's been proposed multiple times, and every time people love the idea, and every time the devs conveniently ignore the topic. This is one of the biggest failures of this game IMHO. A real MMO would have a way to "Flag" what you're looking to do, then group leaders can sort through the list of potetntials seeking groups for certain raids and invite those people for pre-made raid groups. See the thread in my signature for details on how easy they could do this by making the current queue view-able by group leaders so they can invite people from it. I'd like to know why the devs have completely ignored this topic to be honest.

I get more items when i just Q'up then getting into a group for stuff. But that's for me I don't know if it would be good for you

By the way I HATE LFG chat too... it's a nightmare to be a group leader with that stupid thing. I get a headache just looking at it. I had to make a LFG chat tab to get it out of my normal chat menu.

That wouldn't happened you are just telling me (that you want level to get off dcuo you noobs)

I have no idea what you just said.

you should only queue into a raid if you're looking for a mess. putting a group together can take a few minutes or it can be a chore. depends on the flow of things. if you guys want to run vengeance and you're having a hard time finding roles then run what you see lots of people shouting for and try for vengeance later. its the best way to go about things imo.

LFG is more useful. You don't want to randomly queue up and enter the instance right at the last boss, with countless others already came and left because they can't muscle the final boss down.

Before I knew better I queued a few times for raids. I randomly got into kahndaq in the beginning once and it went well, but usually it put me in a failed raid in one of the inner bosses or the end of sub construct.
  16. X-zero Loyal Player

I seldom randomily queue up for a raid but the times I have I started at the beginning. And of the ones I done Outer, Kahndaq, FoS1, Unpaid, Seeds, and Vengeance I manage to finish them. If you queue straight in with a few friends as long as you have the major roles cover between your friends you should be ok.

the devs should add an option to the raid instance if you are queing without a ful group, should be que for from the begining or que for if you dont want to do the whole raid or dont mind what point you come in at
