Quantum is probably one of the worst powers for DPS right now. Power Costly moves, that don't do enough damage to warrant their power cost. It only has 1 good DoT power, and they burst aren't strong enough to compensate. It's almost like Electricity(being power costly), but instead of a lack of Burst, it has a lack of DoTs. I've come up with some changes that I think would help Quantum out a lot: 1. Reduced Power Cost 2. Add a dot to Gravity Bomb(Kinda like Napalm from Gadgets) 3. Buff the DoTs on Singularity. 4. Reduce Gravity Well's CD to match it's duration. 5. Energy Expulsion needs a buff to be a viable finisher.(One if the worst besides Light Blast) 6. Add a might buff to warped reality 7. Tachyon Blast needs to hit harder(This power is really only being used for its 60% damage buff.) That's all I have for now, feel free to add to anything. And please no "Quantum DPS is fine, I have a league member who is Quantum and he's always top dps." Because that's only the case when the other DPS completely suck.
I'm not going to say quantum DPS is fine but with the inclusion of weapon mastery it can definitely be a capable DPS power just as any power can be again due to WM. I like most of your suggestions, however with earth and electricity being next in line for a power revamp us quantum users are a ways out before we will see any changes.
Exactly, Quantum is only viable because of WM and that's not right. I know Earth and Elec are getting their well deserved revamps, but I heard next they're doing Gadgets or something, and I don't quite find that right because Gadgets is in a decent place right now.
I'm having to use the iconic robot in my loadout now sadly at over 4000 might it does more damage then most of my other powers if it wasn't for the troller side I would have probably changed powers by now .
Haven't been quantum for a long time, but I'm always for revamping powers and buffing stuff so +1 for the ideas. Also it will eventually get it's turn because all powers are getting looked at.
i've never had issues with quantum's damage and never have had trouble keeping the top two spots on the scoreboard. i'm all for making it more powerful but not sure if i like the idea of making it more DoT heavy. that would just make it more like the other powers. i have the same reservations about the electric revamp. they took out the dots on the bomb move for burst damage...so now electric is pretty much like every other power that has 1 aoe some dot and some burst.
