If I get a box from winning a PvP instance while I'm, lets say, Tier 2, and I open it just when i'm tier 4, will the rewards be T4 related? Marks and items? Like lockboxes, that u can open later on to get better marks?
Dunno never tried it, why would you want to wait though? You get 50 extra marks (if its an arena match) ...wouldn't you want to get those 50 extra marks to get more gear to make it to t4?
Why do I get garbage base drops for my PvP reward? Usually an open iron maiden or locker thingy. Everything I have to do to maintain my lair is PvE related so base items are PvE to me, yet as my weekly reward for PvP I get junk base items. Junk JUNK EFFING JUNK! Oh and I learned the hard way that you should farm T3 boxes enough to get a couple pieces of T4 before you start on T4, buy the rings last.
It does drop some good things. I've gotten 84pvp weapons and just today from a legends match I got a exceptional recovery kit. You'll get good things just have to be patient.
How so? You get 50 marks from the box when you hit the T4 mark. You get nothing even close to that from the boxes in earlier tiers. That's how they designed it. What you do get in the earlier tiers is a 2nd box, but its mark rewards are even less, lol.
What? You get more marks at a higher tier than you do at a lower tier. 50 marks is the highest amount you get from the box, and you don't get that until you reach the T4 mark. Where is this you get more marks at a lower tier nonsense even coming from, lol?
Unless they changed it, but when they first changed pvp to the tier system, I would get 100+ marks per win...if you continued to reset with replays of course. It varied depending on the tier...but once you hit T4 you got 70 marks, thats the marks for the win plus 50 from the box. Of course you could also get an extra reward box from a gear box/supply box.... EDIT: The reward box amounts changed per tier
It varies on what you get...in the suppy boxes you usually get a consumable of some type, Gear boxes you can get faces, necks, rings, trinket, weapon of the tier you are currently at.
What? No one ever got 100 for a win. That's nuts, lol. The highest it came to was 50, and that's for the weekly reward box. I'm sorry, but you are mistaken. When they first changed PVP to the current tier system, you would get 2 marks for a win. Than 5 for the next tier. Than 10. Than 20 for wins at the tier 4 level. Where are you even getting 100 at, lol? The only difference is that once you hit Tier 4, you got no extra reward box. You just got the reward for the win and the weekly box. I've never once seen this 100 you speak of. Since they started the system back in April, at 77 PVP CR you got 2 for winning, 5 in an extra box and 50 in a weekly box. At 81 PVP CR you got 5 for winning, 10 in an extra box, and 50 in weekly box. At 82 PVP CR you got 10 for winning, 20 in an extra box, and 50 in a weekly box. At 83 PVP CR you got 20 for winning, no extra box, and 50 in the weekly box. That has NOT changed since they started the new system. There is no 100.
I don't remember the exact numbers, but you definitely get more when earning T3 than you do when earning T4. It's because the boxes you get change when you reach PVP CR83. Up until that point you always got 1 box per week per map containing 50 MoV no matter what your gear level was and also a second box containing a set amount of marks that changes depending on your CR (I think it starts at 2, then 5, then 10, then 20). When earning T4 you also get 5 per daily win and 5 per daily participation. Because of this, when you are earning T3 gear then the day the maps reset you get a total of 80 Marks per map the first time you do them (well, 81 if you count the one you get every time you win). Once you get to earning T4 the second box of marks changes to a random box that could contain marks (25), a piece of gear, a consumable, a recovery kit or piece of base furniture, but the daily win and participation also go up to 10 each. So you have the potential to earn more weekly when gathering T4, but it is only a chance to get a second box of marks, not guaranteed like it was for T0-T3.
Yeah, it's the fact you don't have that 2nd reward box that you don't quite get as much when earning T4. But nowhere do you get 100 for a win. That just didn't happen. At 77 CR you got a total of 57 the first time you hit the arena for the week. That include 2 for the win. At 81 CR you got a total of 65 the first time, which includes 5 for winning. At 82 CR you got 80 the first time, which includes 10 for winning. At 83 CR you got 70, which includes 20 for winning. Now, that has changed a bit since you get half for participating and the other half after you win. But it still essentially follows that same pattern. Nowhere was it 100 for winning. I don't even have a clue where that number came from, lol. Thing is, you do most certainly get more on your way to Tier 4 than you do on your way to Tier 2.
You get 10 less marks when you get your weekly reward box, but you get 20 vs 10 for the daily wins so if you do the maps everyday you do actually get more when earning the T4 gear. Unfortunately since the reset though I've lost my desire to do PvP or even play the game everyday so I get my box and I'm out for the week. Seems odd that I was a person who used to only do PvP even long after I needed marks just because it was so fun, now with all the big improvements from the dev team I hardly play the game anymore.
