    I've come to the conclusion they should have beta tested this more before releasing this thing. Evidently, it wasn't ready for launch.

    Decided to try again. Still noticed some frame rate issues, but, not nearly as bad as it was before. However, not sure if it is affiliated with the existence of the frame rate issues, but it seems more noticeable when in my base and in an instance. Both occasions I DC'd receiving an error message.

    As of April 18, they said they added support for Game/App Settings -> Performance Mode and Resolution Mode
    • Resolution Mode: Allows up to 4k rendering
    • Game Default: Allows up to 1440p rendering
    • Performance Mode: Allows up to 1080p rendering
    I am not seeing any of these App settings.

    You change the settings in your PS5. Quickest wasy is: Settings/Saved data & game/app settings/Game presets/Performance mode/resolution mode. BUT… this will change nothing as far as frame stuttering or lag within this game. It’s been tries and tested by many, and has changed nothing. The PS5 client was released on the 26/03/2024, and is still in a horrific state!! I can’t imagine how any dev worth their salt coukd put their name to this. Mobile phone games play better! It’s totally disgusting, considering the amount of money pumped into this game STILL! They’d rather work on some pathetic base, that’s also riddled with issues.

    Yeah......well at this rate it will be a while before they fix PS5, so I will be happy if the Devs just leave the XBOX client alone right now. Thank you for the info though.:)

    With the release of Raging Night, the framerate drops on PS5 Client are starting to become significantly worse again. The framerate in the Book of the Black Alert and Raid is at times almost unplayable.

    I have been experimenting with the PS5 in game video settings and have discovered that reducing the "Effects Quality" Slider does positively impact the framerate, however if the slider is anything but all the way to the right, most of the recent content telegraphed attacks, indicators, and mechanics are completely invisible.

    For example, during the Book of the Black, if the Effects Quality Slider is anything but max, Avaricious Glomulus orange aoe ground zones are not visible, Lyssa Draks invulnerability bubble is not visible, Lyssa Drak Orbital Strikes are not visible, and all red aoe ground zones are not visible. The Effects Quality Slider only seems to change visuals when either below max or at max. The drawback of not being able to see almost any of these boss telegraphs and indicators is a terrible trade off for improving the framerate, even more so when the PS4 Client with max Effects Quality Slider Settings is running at an almost perfect framerate. The framerate difference between the PS4 and PS5 client as of today is still completely incomparable.
