Should be "Ancient Tantu Totem" i believe Eve stated in her video, while Multiverse/Obsidian etc. been talking about both Artifacts release. Maybe the briefing happend before we noticed the logic flaw for the "Red Tornado Redistribution Module". Or there been a misunderstanding. Since both Artifacts been intended as EP47 release. The strange thing is, the logic error been unnoticed since May 10th, the (initial test-server release) of Red Tornado Redistribution Module. Now who to blame? Sometimes in life there are rare but really unlucky situations where no one really is to blame for it.
I would argue many if not the majority of negative outcomes are without a party or parties to blame. Of course that depends on one's qualifications for that which constitutes blame worthiness. I personally tend to avoid assigning blame unless there's a strong case to be made for gross negligence. But most in my experience seem to merely only require any form of causality, logical or not, and often with little substantiation. And then of course there are those like most of my ex-girlfriends who seem to think physical proximity to them at the time they are making K2 sized mountains out of minuscule mole hills at a volume the entire neighborhood can hear is all that is needed to point fingers. It's as if deciding who is responsible for their lack of maturity, perspective and/or empathy is a game of "I spy". But I digress...
I've had the thought, for a very long time now, that with the redesign to the way the game is now, they should have done something if not to FORCE players to run older content, to at least heavily incentivize them to do so. Like, make it so they're really majorly missing out if they DON'T run it. Whatever it would take to make that the case. There are players of this game that just plain REFUSE to run the old content for any reason, because they're sick of running missions they've run hundreds or thousands of times in the past, and only getting a paltry Source Mark or 2 doesn't make it worth their time. What will it take to get those players back on board with queueing up for that old content? Who knows. Personally, to me, the better solution was the walk-in portals where, if you were a high enough level, you could walk-in, steamroll that content solo, and get the drops you were looking for. Stat Clamping has killed that, so the first step is to redo the Portals so they take you into a NON-CLAMPED version of the content. THEN add Walk-In Portals for all the old content that doesn't have them! Will these new Devs listen where the old ones didn't? Perhaps. Perhaps not. Time will tell. Always does.
Those 2 arts needs to stay on test. Needs more adjustments. Certain parts of Tantu is bugged and the tank art barely gives healing now.
Umm, you do realize the new aura is obtained through a collection set, and just like last DLC, the collections are found in older content from different bosses?!? There is a mixup with info though just like the 1 vs 2 artifacts. Multiverse stated this new auras collections come from the bounty, but Eve, aka Zoe stated it's like last DLC and they are spread out throughout the game.
Lol... At this point I can't imagine that going over well. If they'd said that a year ago - most would have probably accepted it, especially that the whole cycle of hoarding XP and waiting for the right time to improve your arts has been a mixed blessing at best. But allowing players to hoard Nth Metal for a year, to play with crappy lv80 arts, to stay out of more difficult content, hoping their patience and effort would be rewarded, just like it had been for years - and then telling them "Oh, BTW - there will be no more dbl XP, you can spend your saved XP now - on arts you could have been playing with for many months. You've been playing handicapped for a year for no reason whatsoever"? Yeah, some might find that difficult to get over.
Meh...I'd rather no than not. Again, I'm not ever going to use any...spend any cash on...or (god forbid) invest in a wolfpack, until I know for sure. Which if that means I never do any of these things...I guess it does. Because as mad as someone might be about having hoarded for a year, just to find out they should have used it....I think that's worse than ASSUMING they are gone, spending the cash to level up a few wolfies, then having one happen the next day. "handicapped".....a bit melodramatic...no?
Ugh....2 corrections. I hit send, went back to correct after re-read....lost power due to storm and missed the edit window.
Both situations are far from ideal. Which is why a logical solution would be to announce discontinuation of those bonus weeks - if that's what they've decided - around the time the last one happens. And since this bonus used to happen every few months for years, I can't imagine it would ruin the company, if they ran it one last time. Therefore I doubt there will never be another one. I think that most likely they will just happen with decreasing frequency, as they have been for the past 2 years and nobody will explain or clarify anything, allowing the player base to slowly get used to whatever schedule will suit the company. I mean - they introduced and kept repeating dbl art XP bonus for a reason and I doubt it was just to make players happy. There might be a point in the future, when it will again be financially beneficial to run it, so declaring it will never happen would be pretty short-sighted. I think a lot more people will be miffed if they spend their money and use their Nth Metal after they're specifically told the bonus is not coming back and then some time later it returns. The most likely statement we can expect (other than no statement at all) is something along the lines of "We don't have plans to schedule a Double Artifact Xp bonus week at the moment, but we don't exclude the possibility that this, or a similar bonus event might occur in the future." Is it? English is not my first language and I assumed, that since then using "handicapped" as "with a handicap" was an acceptable expression and fairly easy to understand in context. If it isn't - I'm sorry.
So if you have 80s vs 120s ...even 200s...the content becomes 'difficult'? Okie dokie, if you say so.
I'm not sure what's your point is. Where did I say that "the content becomes 'difficult'"? Some content is difficult and you won't complete it or even be accepted into a group, if your artifacts are not high enough. Is that news to you? How many E+ raids have you run with lv80 arts?
I dont see anything about 2x art xp, it's been long enough, we deserve an answer to this question, when will 2x art xp come? Be honest about it, even if the answer is "never again", just be transparent to the community, we deserve an answer. I've already seen how you've conveniently ignored every message about it while answering to other replies and i dont see any reason why you should be so shy to say something when the 2x art xp topic is brought up.
We've almost, but not quite, got it to where we want it. But yes, we pulled back based on internal playtesting and discussions. Its coming, we just want a bit more time on it.
thank you! agree it needed a bit more tweaking and glad you all are committed to getting it to that point!
I actually did NOT realize that, but then, that's not the topic I was replying to, either. Please go back and re-read the post I quoted, which I was replying to. That was talking about a much larger, long-time problem within the game in regards to running content that's older than Current End Game (i.e. the 3 Most Recent DLCs.)
So under your regime, is something like cross play or cross save on the table? Perhaps a character copy to the different versions of the games. I's like to play on my switch on the go but starting over at this point in the game is not going to happen.
Hello, and good afternoon! Take your time, I know Ranmaru is cooking up a good one. My league mates and I are already enjoying the ancient tantu artifact. I got it to 160, and they have it to 180 and nearly 200. Now we just are deciding on whether to Wolfpack it or not but I think it's a winner.
