More news on this soon! Until then, you can keep track of current and upcoming status updates here. Episode 48… What we CAN tell you at this time is that the story follows the reckless adventures of a beloved antihero, which ultimately brings them face-to-face with dangerous decisions that could impact the world. Our teams have been incredibly excited about working on this next Episode ever since the initial pitch was made, and they’ve continuously expressed that excitement over the course of its development. Although we can’t say too much yet, we’d love to show you some non-spoilers the team has been working on! Perhaps your keen senses have already got your brain ticking? Well stay tuned, because Episode 48’s big title reveal will be announced on July 26th in Daybreak’s panel “Revolutionizing Legends: The Evolution of Iconic Online Games” at San Diego Comic-Con! Stay tuned for more details on the community meet-up . ON THE HORIZON WEEKLY RESETS Weekly Resets will now be shifting from Thursdays to Tuesdays starting July 16. Not only will weekly resets now sync with our new update days, but this will streamline the way loot locks are lifted when participating in new raid content after an update. For the team, this also means more accessibility throughout the week to provide any post-update services as needed. With this shift, we’re looking forward to seeing stark improvements to the overall development schedule of the game. BRAINIAC RETURNS: AFTERSHOCK “Brainiac Returns!” was our latest Episode, which launched in May. If you thought it was over, you’re sorely mistaken! An aftershock has been building and rumbling...waiting to happen!Brainiac Returns’ post-launch content will be dropping next Tuesday, July 16, and because there’s so much to dig into, we’re calling it “Brainiac Returns: Aftershock!.” This update will introduce a new Open World Boss, Weekly Mission, 1 new Artifact, new Episode-specific vendor rewards, a 2X Bizarro Sample event to pair with it, new Boss Drops, Collections, and Feats! Get ready for the madness and arrive in your best “Brainiac Returns” inspired attire as you tackle a new set of threats and challenges! UPCOMING Leading up to Episode 48, we’re prepping numerous events and giveaways you’ll get to enjoy –from Homecoming, Year of the Dragon, Batman Day, and so much more! It’s an exciting year for us as we continue to explore new avenues and keep things fresh. Moving forward, we have plans to shake things up, so keep your eyes peeled on our forums, website, and social media for new announcements on what’s to come. Until next time, see you again before the end of the year! Kenn “Kendricke” White Lead Producer
Glad we’re finally getting Raven’s meditation emote. Year of the Dragon looks pretty promising as well.
Oh ma god, look at Big Barda!!!!!! She looks amazing. Now she is my favorite updated model in game. Props to the team also for the map - it looks epic! Hopefully this is a raid map. Will be cool to explore! I didn't know what to think of the art for Homecoming, but if we are getting Raven's meditation emote - sdgjsdkgjdskgjdsg YES PLEASE! Excited also for Year of the Dragon & Batman Day! Weekly resets - interesting choice. I hope it will go well. So gathering from this... Darkseid DLC? Wonderverse did leave us hanging on his fate!
Nice! Look forward to hearing more about the new episode! Initial impressions are something Apokolips themed, not sure if the city is another Gotham though. Any updates on elite plus? Some of the feats in the Brainiac Returns episode are for (Elite or Elite Plus), implying Elite Plus is in the works.

This is exactly the kind of updates to current content we've needed for a long time. I know people get tired of me talking about FF XIV but this is what they do to keep the players active and engaged. Active and engaged players are generally happy players, and happy players tend to spend real $$$ on the game they are playing. I hope this is a success. I hope this is the start of a revitalization of DCUO. I see so much potential here for all kinds of stuff! Thank you Kikumod!
Also, will Brainiac Returns Aftershock be a hot fix, or will it release as part of a GU and therefore have downtime on Tuesday July 16?
Here’s to hoping we get to see some new Apokoliptian and Genesisian faces. Looks like Darkseid is invading Gotham.
I do think this is a better producer's letter than the previous one. However, I would highly suggest having someone that takes a more active approach in interacting with the community. I know with the recent additions the team may not have the best idea on what the future holds, but some kind of active dialogue is really needed. There's a lot of built-up distrust/angst from over the years that hopefully can be whittled away at. Throwing a bone to the community by committing to work on QoL improvements or fixing ancient bugs would also go a long way.

Are we talking about "Ancient Tantu Totem" and "Red Tornado Redistribution Module"? If so, the Red Tornado Redistribution Module is not ready. It will not work correctly with tank powers like Ice, Earth or those making use of shields. Therefore not ready for release, unless you want the "Aftershock" from the community.
Looks like according to this post: We're getting the new artifacts next week. So unless they are crazy, we won't be seeing 2x anytime soon if at all.
A good way to really get started would be to clarify the status of 2x exp week. Old players like me really don't need it or care, but its very useful for players trying to come back to the game, or start the game.
Looking forward to it, and finally the last type of Horns used by NPCs finally will be added. I’ll be getting those.
