My main concern is the acquisition of the capsule keys. I hope a balance is struck between marketplace keys and keys that are available in-game.

If they are MP only then this is exactly like neverwinters awful nightmare boxes. And that is a very very bad thing

but, they're not MP only.

After watching the stream what i dont like is the RNG. I see the 1st box get opened and a focus element II comes out. Really? I guess i have to know more on how much the keys cost or how often u earn them ingame and what it takes to earn them. If u make it a ton of work to earn a key and it takes forever and i open a box and get a focus element II? Then i wont bother ever again after that. Also if the price of the keys is too much it wont be worth it.

Basically if it takes too much to earn a key then most people will ignore this. I also dont know why crafting mats and bytes are in these boxes. We can earn those in game already and at a pretty fast clip. All those items do is clutter up the loot table for these boxes and will annoy people when they get these items instead of the good stuff. We as players keep telling u guys how much we dislike RNG but then u keep adding RNG stuff to the game

I will say i love that new batman style. Awesome looking. Also the deadshot style is amazing. Love the helmet and back piece. Wondering if the eyes on the batman helmet can glow or be changed in color? Cause they were black.

I agree if we're going to more then likely end up paying real money to open these capsules because let's be honest that's probably going to happen they need to take out all the r&d trash stuff we already get.

The last thing I wanted to hear was new promises for new things when past announcements, things that have been eagerly awaited by players, have failed to make it into the game. I'm all for new stuff and innovation, but everything simply rings hollow. Have these new, new, concepts displaced the gear/style unlocking and the water power set, or are they just another something that might be implemented next year or the year after?

DCUO is demonstrating a great deal of generosity towards the F2P & limited Premium members with this promotional event.

I hope that someday loyal Premium Members receive some form of special appreciation. There is a population of loyal players who choose, for various reasons, to purchase DLC's/Episodes & MP upgrades instead of a recurring membership. Many of us spend up to, or more, on this game than an annual membership would cost. Yet we are historically the most marginalized group within the game.

Legendary members receive annual appreciation gifts (tombot, etc), as well as often receiving early access to new content. F2P is now receiving 1 month of "Open Access", in the past they have received additional content they can access (Inner alert & duos). Yet I am unable to recall an instance in which DCUO has demonstrated an appreciation to their Premium Members. Yet, memory is a funny thing, and maybe I'm wrong.

I am in no way saying that DCUO must show some appreciation to their loyay Premium Members, I'm just hopful that someday they do.

Best of luck on the promotional event. I sincerely hope that it succeeds beyond DCOU's expectations.

I don't get it, they stuck the auras & emblems, which a lot of people would happily have paid cash for in-game for free, & then stick these keys in the MP

Then likely the drop rate will so low as to be not worth mentioning. After all..if the drop rate was high enough to be useful then they wouldn't also need to be in the MP yes?

You do realize you need the keys to open the capsules the emblems and auras come from, right?

I assume this will be the case as well but it is still just an assumption until we get more details.

The collections come from the capsules, too. It's all about the RNG boxes this fall in DCUO.

And why only 8 weeks? I know u guys said on the stream they could go longer. But how many people will collect all that stuff in 8 weeks time? These capsules should be permanent in the game. And u could either add new stuff to existing capsules or do a capsule II with all new stuff. It wont be fun if someone is trying to get a mist aura and they need 1 last collection piece and then the capsules are removed from the game. Please make them permanent.

Its also great this stuff is in game. But a lot of us have been saying make the MP better for a long time now. All the stuff in the capsules could of been added to the MP instead of in game. I know some maybe wouldnt like that idea but there would of been a ton of new stuff on the MP which is again what a lot of people have asked for.

U cannot trade the auras. U can trade the collection pieces that reward the aura tho. But once u finish the collection and receive the aura as a reward its stuck on that toon u finished the collection on.
