Today i wanted to install the game after a pause from it and after i got the game after it got instaled those updates or what they are needed to download and from 5 to 5 minutes the launchpad keeps crashing and i have to open it again and again , does someone has an ideea why ? P.S: I have Win 10
Maybe your security software is blocking it. Add DCUO to the exceptions. Keep in mind that DCUO has a main folder and a settings folder in My Documents.
I've done it but it still doesn't work + i don't have that main folder or what ever in My documents .. I've tried to uninstall it and then install it again but i can't uninstall it i got some error like " Microsoft c ++ - Runtime library" so i can't uninstall it either .. nice
Do you have the latest version of the C++ Runtime Library? If yes, it might be broken. Did you an upgrade to Windows 10 or a fresh install? If you did an upgrade, also check/update drivers.
I have three friends with the same problem, including me too. We all day as well. But it's just a character with other characters we can not close the game. This a general error,
I've done anything you said but still doesn't work , now keeps crashing from 15-15 minutes last a little bit longer but still isn't working how it has to ..
I'm having this similar problem, i would launch the game and it says its installing but after a min it just crashes on me, I've tried updating it and delete personal settings but nothing seems to work. Hope someone can help....

I'm having these issues as well, however, the Launchpad will close after a few Megabytes of download, and then eventually close for no reason at all. I've tried literally EVERYTHING. I tried to repair Visual C++ and updated it. I rechecked all the files in the Launchpad, but everything was fine there. I even turned off my firewall entirely, and am still getting this issue. I am worried to submit a support ticket because the problem might not even get fixed, and based on what I hear from a lot of people, it takes way too long and is way too complicated to get any kind of support whatsoever.
It is complicated to contact support? I click the orange button and it opens the ticket page. The bug that prevented me from sending tickets was only there for a week and fixed some days ago. And so far I have always received a response in less than 5 days. During the week in a day.
The constant disconnect issue applies to PC too?, it can be one of the many reasons on how this guys is affected.
The OP has problems with the Launchpad. I have never heard anyone calling the Launchpad closing itself "disconnect". Are you maybe talking about something else?
The Launchpad is closing itself after 10-15 minutes after i started it , without any reason .. Well that's it , no DC for me i guess , maybe i'll try in 2-3 mounths again , anyway Thanks to all that tried to help me
