...I was able to use the Equipment Exchange Kits to recover several Special Forces mods on one of my toons (healer gear), but when I tried to use the kits to recover some SF mods from the same toon in my dps gear, I got a message that the mod was incompatible. Is there a limited number of times a mod can be recovered?
They are compatible with SF mods..it grants you a "Special Forces mod box" for each mod you recover. The catch is that you can only recover the mods once. After you have recovered the mod and slotted it in a new piece of gear it's a wrap, you need the mod removal kit from that episode.
