Private queue is terrible

Personality, most likely. On an underpopulated server it doesn't take long for most players to realize, that someone is an... well - the kind of person we can all clearly see on the forum. Once the word spreads around and you end up on enough people's ignore lists - you're pretty much done for. Especially if you're not very good and you're looking for experienced players, who can carry you, not just some newbies, who haven't met you, or heard of you before.

Every single person who has asked for the clamp to be removed or made optional. Every person who stopped running old content because it became incredibly annoyingly long, and filled with players who had mechanics explained to them - but chose to ignore them, and cause groups to disband. Those people. Those are “the people” the same ones who’ve asked for it to be removed over and over again. You are a minority in this. Your stance on this doesn’t really mean anything to those who want it gone. You’re just words on a screen. hostile towards those who differ in opinions.

If you feel like you’ve done everything there is to do, and unclamped isn’t how “a MMO is supposed to run” fantastic! But other people want to go back and get feats without having the whole thing ruined by someone ****ing it up. The amount of times I’ve ran content and explained feats, only ti have it entirely ignored, is astounding (and this is groups specifically set up for the feat)

This is the real issue. People form groups specifically to run feats. You queue into clamped content (which already takes longer than it should) and you’re halfway/3/4 way through a raid, the feat has been explained, everyone’s given the all clear they know what to do. Then some clown ignores the instructions, ruins the feat, and the group disbands. That happens constantly, and it drives people to give up.

Who tf wants to spend over an hour + soloing a raid as a DPS, just because the clamp forces you to play nerfed? What kind of life do you have where that sounds fun? Is it just for “funzies”? Or… are you trying to prove something about “skill”? Because hardly anyone wants to play like that. People are burned out. They’ve spent hundreds on arts, allies, augments, and now they just want to go back and steamroll old content.

If that pisses you off - that’s a YOU problem. Most players just want to speed through old, dead content, grab their feats, hit 966 SP, and go sit in HoL doing absolutely FA all. That’s the endgame now.
Look around at how many players you see now without a league. How many players ask daily for “active leagues” then ask the next, and the next, and two weeks later - they still haven’t found one. This particular MMO, doesn’t have the numbers to call itself an MMO anymore! evident by the necessity of smaller grouped content.

I genuinely don’t get why this seems to bother you so much though. If you don’t want to run unclamped content - that’s Fabby! Don’t. But why are you set on other people having not that option? Why is your version of how the game is “meant to be played” more valid? The game ran unclamped for years. That’s where most of the top sp came from - unclamped content from years ago. But really, why do you think your way to play should be forced on everyone else? That’s what I don’t get. Or is this some pretentious arronge thing? Like - ‘well, I didn’t use the clamp and I have np at all running anything’ so others shouldn’t, and they should all be like me?

I hate to tell you, but many if not most people can't solo most content (raids at least) so while they wouldn't NEED to play with everyone, they will need to play with SOMEONE. Maybe just 1 or 2 people in much of it, but that sounds like 1 or 2 more than you seem to be able to hook up with. I'd say get yourself 1 or 2 other players...and get some runs rolling. Maybe send them a cookie or candy bar to entice them into hanging with you.

The EU has a big language barrier, and many either don’t understand what’s being said - or choose to ignore feat mechanics. What 'lobby'? Are you sure you are playing DCUO? If you are worried about inspection, hang out in your base while looking for a group. Then when you get IN the run, you've got 5 min before they can kick you...use that time to impress them with your skills and they will forget your 3x sub 200 artis by the time the kick is available.

I used to have a PC account that I leveled up so I could group with myself for duos. But haven't used it in years. I'm looking forward to trying out some alerts when I have time!

I see absolutely no reason why the game should allow you to "speed" through anything, just so you can sit in HOL doing "FA all" ("F*** All all"? lol...). You don't need 966 SP to be doing that, if that's your goal. And even if it were true, that "most players" want to do what you want - well, as long as they can't, I'll be able to find a bunch that are willing to play with me in order to grab their feats the proper way. That's why I'd prefer that people, who want everything the fast and easy way, were unhappy and jealous - maybe it will motivate them one day to get off their a**es and play with others, instead of acting like it's everybody else's fault that they can't have 966 SP. Most of the time - the players screaming about others messing up their feats are the ones doing it.

Nobody's forcing you to solo raids. And you don't even have to run them with 7 randos anymore. Get a few friends, who are good enough at the game and go grab your feats instead of demanding, that DCUO turns into a casual single player game, so that you can feel good about your cheesed 966 SP.

Do you mean swap romcfore to elec or gadgets or munitikns and then I'm good? I could swap power and be top of lb in most of my instances.

Is that what means being good is? To swap to the most over powered powers?

How about you come in as say fire dps and I come in as say gadgets DPS and we will see who is good?

"There are no people" and "no one wants to do what I want when I want" aren't the same thing. You have to adapt.

- Apokolips E raid with my main
- Brainiac N raids with my main
- T5->7 bounties with 2 characters
- Weekly Omnibus with my main
- Daily JLDC raid and alert
- Feat progress... yesterday there were people doing Australia 8v8, cumulative FGSe...

And there were no problems with sp/art/cr in any of them.

In what way does private matchmaking hurt anything, I'll wait. Most players join groups in lfg to get content done. Blind queue has always been at your own risk especially blind queueing elite content. And everything you said is false. The game is not dead whatsoever that's subjective to which time of the day you play in ofc more people are gonna be off the game towards night people are literally going to sleep. If your friends are so strong why can't they invite you into their private matches sounds like their not your friends don't you think? What does private queue have anything to do with new players? They hardly even know what to do in the game to begin with. Not anyone's obligation to look out for new player what they need to do is get on Youtube and look up what they need to do to be good at this game just like any other game.

Something tells me you'd get stomped as Gadgets, by Fire, and then come in here complaining that Fire needs nerfed and Gadgets needs buffed. People would try to help you, they'd ask for your loadout, and you'd refuse any help or advice.
