I think "trash" might be over-egging it, somewhat, but, yeah, nothing there for me. I might've been interested in the Chroma if it didn't have that tartan / check effect to it, but, there ya go. fairly sure the hammer thing'll be popular, though.
I am curious if there are any Feats because when Mepps was popping Emblems and when he absorbed all the Chromas no feat popped what-so-ever. Please tell me you guys finally stopped putting Feats in the TC's. That will make me beyond happy.

Why? Because there's a few super rare items that are extremely expensive and hard to obtain? This is nothing new in MMOs. That being said, those other MMOs usually have a lot more of those expensive and rare items obtainable through actual gameplay as well as loot boxes. These TCs definitely need to be changed in how they work. This is a video game, not a casino. They could start with posting the odds. Casinos at least do that much. If a person spends over $200 , they should be walking away with everything. Other MMOs have systems in place like earning enough bonus currency to be able to buy the pieces you didn't get a a reasonable price. But this company even took that system and completely trashed it in the form of quarks. The amount of quarks you get is minuscule, then you have to wait for 2 years before the item you need even makes it to the vendor, only for the price to be astronomical and still out of reach for those who don't spend $300+ on TCs to even get the amount of quarks needed. So in reality the "second chance" vendor is just sham. You still need to spend spend spend for the currency lol. Other games have systems where you don't get duplicates. With systems like this they will still make their money. Instead of a few people dropping 2 or 3 hundred, they could possible draw in a lot more people willing to spend even $100 that didn't do that before. It's not just about saving players real world money either. All these things will also keep the in game economy from getting to even more ridiculous heights than it currently is at. No one should even have or need multiple billions for anything. It is like we are the Mexico of MMOs, our money and economy is worthless. Glitches were/are a big reason why we are where we are with the economy, but the way the TC system is currently set up is just as much part of the problem as well. It's funny EA takes all the heat when companies like Daybreak skate by under the radar doing the same things, sometimes even worse, in the form of RNG "surprise mechanics" and not taking any heat publicly at all outside of this forum.
I think capsules are, often, a hot mess. This capsule is a big and clear example of what nobody asked for or wanted. I was thinking that maybe we were going to get a Batgirl (Burnside) style with a cowl with hair, or a Black Canary style... but then we get a style based on a villain that has appeared in Batgirl in 4 issues recently, as the real Oracle was Barbara Gordon and Oracle was just a "internet avatar" for her persona. I think, with all the respect, Daybreak creative director has lost her grip with what we really want and need, this game still has that massive potential to be one of the best superhero MMORPG ever... ... but we are in cycles of hit or miss. Some DLC are good (Atlantis), not bad (JLD, even if it uses a recycled Gotham map) and weak DLCs (both Metals or Deluge) were we get lots of recycled instances or maps. There are lot of premium/free players but there are a lot of subscribers too and It surely feels like paying is not rewarding enough, the Store sucks and remains a tool to spend money for resets or respectifications of our characters. Some of us expected styles, new bases layouts, and other stuff to be purchased there... but daybreak prefers to give us capsules with absurd rare ratios on drops and stuff that are a long departure in many cases from anything we wanted. Metal II is nearly gone and we havent got a Hawkwoman helm with hair, we never got Zatanna's boots, Nightwing's hair, Thanagar's sky is probably the tiniest in the game as you cant really fly high in that map and we could go on... Daybreak, please, have some autocritic. You can do so much better and you have become complacient with not enough content. It feels like you just dont care enough about the game and its players and u are just waiting to cancel the game and close it instead of making it BIG. What a pity.

The cosmetics and feats are optional. If you don't like it, don't spend money on it. As for spending billions in the broker? Blame your fellow players for that one. They're the ones setting that price, and the people spending billions on these items are helping the price stay up.
