Preferred Weapon for Earth DPS

Hello all,

If you're currently an Earth DPS or used to be an Earth DPS, im wondering what kind of weapon you used. Do you use weapon combos or WM? Have you experimented with different weapons in comparison to WM? I just want to know what the general consensus is.

I currently use HB weapon combo Scissor Kick. I do pretty well for myself usually top 3 DPS but I want to know if I could be better.

Try Solar Flame instead of Scissor Kick.

HB Scissor Kick clip
HB Solar Flame clip - stronger than SK (no wm spec) but less mobile
2H Arrow Storm mastery
DW Explosive Shot mastery
Brawl Haymaker clip
1h Flip Slash clip

All work well with earth

You're doing well with SK. Good strong range, mobility, and the clip timing fits the cooldowns perfectly.

Brawling or Bow are my favs....

I tend to use what I like - not the most popular or OP!

any hold tap or hold hold combo fit the rotations with earth I tended to like Hand blasters better simply because i didnt have to waste SP on Weapon mastery to have a good two hit combo between powers

DW into Explosive shot.

I kind of like Shield, which isn't as terrible as it sounds. The ranged WM takes a while, so a single WM basically gets you from one Reinforce to another, when you're conserving power. Also, the hold-hold, where you clip the second hold, is extremely fast with a nice dps when you're going full throttle.

I too use DW into Explosive shot. I can't get used to shooting beams out of my hands when I have rock powers.

I'm using Full Auto Dual Pistols non-WM.

DW into uppercut crits for me around 40-45K sometimes in DC. Explosive shot hits for around 20K for me.

I use Staff into both Rifle WM or just hit Reinforce and FG and then wipe my staff around for what feels like 100 hits

I did my testing last night since I switched . The only weapon that did a good damage is hand master solar flame ! , duel wield sucked , brawling sucked , two handed sucked ...so it's up to u bud wether u wanna be op or just enjoying the game

Someone doesn't now how to Brawl...

I have zero problems using Brawling, then again I do not follow the OP rule on powers or weapons, so, I use what I like.

Surely not what the community on this site suggests or I'd never have any fun in this game that I enjoy.

Community ALWAYS runs to OP powers and weapons - I run away from them, makes the game more fun and challenging...

Well I am a good player

I spent about 90 minutes on a test dummy yesterday, and I put together some combos that I really like.

In low power-regen environments, I've been using DW into Explosive Shot. Every third one, I pop Fortify, and I pepper it with a couple other powers to taste.

In high power regen environments, I just use Solar Flare clipped with Striking Stones when there isn't something more interesting to cast. The hold-tap/SS is really fast and does a lot of damage.

Anyway, I'm still tinkering. I'm enjoying the versatility of HB, and from my Legends experience, clipped Fist Slams are really nice.

Also, something neat is that both DW and HB have 2H and Bow as their weapon combos, so I just speccced into all four and now I can just swap weapons without a respec.

Solar Flame if you're ranging. If you can safely melee, there are better weapon combos to use.

Well. Im 144cr earh dps and if u run with sc(like speed drain) then brawling into ss mastery its your choice cuz for fastest sc regen.
If u run without it so hb into sk or 2h for as r weapon to pick up

I tested 2h, dw, brawling and hb. Dw for my opinion got nerfed(recently it hits 20 -50k) , brawling best for sc users for more sc tappin per raid, 2h do nice dmg and hb is pretty good too. Ill be test 2h and hb and past here best choice for non sc players

I use DW into Explosive Shot. It may not be the best but it's served me pretty well.

Also Staff-Mortar WM works very well. I use on my Sorcery toon.
