Good Prec v. Good Might = Setting and Application. I can waste people in duos and alerts that I can't touch in a Raid, because the outlay requirements are different. Which, hey, that's how variety should work - difference in application means that a team needs variety in bigger content.

Bad Prec = dude doing cartwheels in the corner, no damage, Bad Might = all flash, no substance, same result. Fun to watch though.

disagree. once you undertstand the raid and time when you use it you can get close and get that beserk off easily. What recent elite raids cant you get close in? your already going to be flurrying u have the mobility to quickly escape any danger need be or move around anywhere you want without dropping your combo.

    Justice dark content

    FOAE

you can easily get close enough to fate too get damage off he teleports to farthest away anyway all you have to do is watch out for circles on the ground. you can beserk spam him

The only only boss in this raid you will take a L to if your really close and not being careful is klarion

    SGE

    1st boss

Tala is not a problem to get close to and use beserk all you really have to watch out for is the meteor when it comes down next to the tank

    2nd boss-

play it smart and you can beserk this as well

    Last boss

the only part where you cant play the close game

    _____________________________________________________

    METAL content

    MOME

    1st boss freeze

not smart but you can be a daredevil

    2nd boss Ivy

You can beserk spam here im sorry this boss isnt much of a threat

    3rd bosses

Merciless can be beserk spammed at the right moments
Red death not smart to be near him if you play it smart you can get away with it.

just because certain parts wont allow doesnt mean overall you cant still get away with it.

regular content its not even close to being balanced because you truly have nothing to worry about in regular content and you have infinite lives.

for elite it just comes down to how skilled the player is with mechanics. to start out yeah id use neo venom over beserk but once im comfortable with the raid im subbing in beserk for it.

would electricity still out perform rage with out someone spamming EoG for you?

but its not only about knowing to read the elite raids to be able to jump into the phases one actually could use Berserk, its simply not worth doing it since the tanks are running around all the time, keeping up with Berserk running during executing flurry shot is annoying also very risky not only to die and lose out a lot of damage but also having to go out of range before Berserk duration runs out because of reasons...being on the move cost damage aswell, as i said overall running berserk in elite u would miss out on ur teammates supply drops and supercharge generation, one would perform way better by simply not using berserk and running two different SC for rotating the EoG effect, from experience i can tell not using Berserk in elite often means more burn for the group.

Outside of Elite content where one doesnt need to leave the boss at certain points nor does the tank need to run around to avoid incoming damage Berserk is damn strong without doubt but making this SC 10000 or/and give it a 45 sec cooldown is ridiculous, a better way to balance Berserk would be to reduce the damage it does but increasing its range from melee to mid basically a circuit breaker version on mid range instead of melee range.

Berserk does do more damage than CB, but you can’t get it off consistently throughout fights. If a boss is completely completely stationary then betserk takes if but you try this in Mom E freeze ffight and get frozen once while berserk, you lost all the damage you could be doing with CB at max range. Idk why people are arguing, it’s clear that CB takes this 11 out of 10 times in raids overall. And even iif you do get off a berserk it’s not even worth bothering with bosses lunging the tanks, cc and your group’s supply drops/geminis. You are probably getting beat by CB since you’ll be missing out on some of supply drops/geminis chasing a boss making it worth it one time. Like I said, it ain’t about burst damage but consistent DoT in elite raids not to mention risk vs reward factor as well

It depends really. Ability-wise, Rage can clip a dot with another dot at melee range. Berserk is a 90% buff on a single target but splits after 1.

Electric could apply a bunch of DoTs at max range and Circuit Breaker is a straight 55% buff. Electric tends to build supercharge really fast.

Like a lot of things in DCUO today it comes down to the player and the content.

Plasma retch is not clipable, any ability aside from nado pull or zip tie is a damage loss. CB is much much better than neo venom because of its cooldown. A lot of times people who run in gemini groups end up overspilling supercharge due to its45 second cooldown. Not the case with CB

Ive recently went ice prec and i was wondering when the snow devils get knocked back and have to travel back to target or just travel in general like the red death fight in mome where he is always moving would it be better to be elec prec for fights like that?

Title should be changed to 'Flurry Shot DPS'

Have yet to see any meaningful "Prec" discussion yet outside of flurry shot in the this thread
