You state I and others are liars, but I'm not supposed to respond to it. My original statement stands; there was no reason to point out my involvement and I didn't feel it your business really. If capsules went away the broker will go up for them. I still need old feats from a few but I managed to finish some of the time capsules with the broker but it takes millions to do so.

No I just wanted to seperate the argument from your personal bias because of your issues with me on a personal level.

I do buy booster bundles when they're available because I'm not buying the auraa I'm buying the marketplace goods there's no gambling involved because the purchase is transparent with any aura box being a complete bonus.

I bought BB for the OG Nimbus aura.
Thought.... I'll just spend $20. So I would spend $20 one day..... $20 another..... and before you knew it..... I spent $100+ on them BB.

I did get the Nimbus. But I had to spend more then $100 for it. Not sure how much more..... because I did not keep track of how much I actually spent total. Could be $120... could be $200. I really do not remember and did not really keep track at the time.

After that I would buy a couple just to try my luck.... and that would be it.
There is one BB where I did not buy any.

The last time was for the Cosmic material.... that I ended up buying on the Broker.

Here is what you can get with 100 GTC.
If you are not lucky and really are trying to get the rare aura..... would not be surprised to see someone spend a few $100 up to $500 opening them GTC... and still not get the rare stuff.

I remember every last dollar I spent on those bundles and capsules, mostly due to the fact of how ashamed I am about it.

Shame... ding!... Shame... ding!... Shame... ding!... Shame... ding!... Shame... ding!... Shame... ding!...

Was very ashamed when I bought the BB to try to get the Cosmic mat..... only to end up buying it on the Broker.
And it's not like I got items that I could sell for a good amount of $$$ so that I would have the $$$ to buy the Cosmic mat.
I got common auras that were worth very little $$$..... So I had to farm for $$$ a LOT to be able to buy the Cosmic mat.

So I spent some $$$ and got nothing that I really wanted.

With the TC..... no shame.

If I spend $100 on TC.... I still get a whole bunch of stuff that I wanted.
Heck with the GTC..... what I really wanted was the Beyond gear.... and some Batman emblems.
So I got a bunch of Beyond gear for a bunch of my characters ( I have a LOT of characters) .

Getting the Rare auras or the Trinket?? that would have been a bonus. But did not really expect to get any of that spending less then $500.

Booster Bundles were far better than time capsules. I used to buy the bundles. I'll not ever buy stabilizers.

You got half the value of the bundle in replay badges, and even if you didn't get the aura you wanted, if you banked it for long enough and didn't do the noob broker technique of walking straight over to the broker and listing it for 100K less than the cheapest one, you could nake a lot of money.

Prime example being the blue vapor aura. They were the real booby prize of the last booster bundle. A terrible aura that was practically invisible. You could sell it on the broker for under a million, or wait 6 months and sell it for 4 million.

Here's another thing, you could give stuff to your friends. If I get one of the rare auras from a time capsule, I can't give it away, I need the feat.

I consider getting a definite 150 Replay Badges, 2 Total Recovery Kits, 1 R&D Scanner, 1 Radar Enhancer, 1 Proto Repair-Bot and an Aura after purchasing a Booster Bundle paying for itself. I will use all of that whereas I will likely use maybe one item that comes out of every few Time Capsules. Guess it all comes down to a matter of preference.

Personally, I would rather have booster bundles. Aura box plus replays, scanners(total recovery kits are kinda useless bc of tc's) and best of all no feats. I can chase the items that I am actually interested in.

People are gonna justify TCs anyway they can. In 1 thread u will see someone say they dislike TCs and the feats but in another thread they defend em.

Hopefully soon the vendor gear marks are only available in TCs so all the players who actually wanna play the game can be driven away. And hmm i wonder why people want TCs over booster bundles? Could it be because they get to buy feats?

There have also been people who have spent $500 on TCs and didnt finish everything inside the TC. Same as people spending a bunch of $ on BBs and not getting all the auras. Both TCs and BBs have RNG so the only thing that makes 1 a better value over the other is 1 has feats and 1 doesnt. Remember all the BB auras could be sold on the broker just like the TC rewards. That is fact.

And players would rather buy feats then run content to get em. I think thats become painfully obvious. People should just be honest and come out and say they wanna buy feats. Cause we all know thats what is really going on. And any other reasoning or justification is simply silly.

So anyone who doesnt like TCs is the equivalent of a homeless man yelling about cheeseburgers? U sure have a wild imagination. Here is an idea, some of us want to actually play instances to earn feats/styles. Crazy concept i know. Here is another crazy idea too, not everyone wants to buy feats and gamble. This is a MMO not a casino. Just because someone dislikes TCs doesnt mean they are anything, much less a yelling homeless man. It means they have a different opinion.

Hang on a second don't try to attempt to erect a strawman here. You're not fooling anyone here into thinking you're defeating the argument by making accusations as to my purchasing habits.

My purchasing habits are utterly and entirely irrelevant to the facts of the matter and therein lies your strawman; nothing more than an attempt to draw emotion into a factual argument trying to look like you've discredited me and thus defeated the argument.

The facts of the matter here is

Booster bundles were a purchase of $10 worth of marketplace goods with an added aura box bonus; that box cost exactly $0

Capsules are $1 for a box that is pure gambling with the best items hidden behind the worst RNG odds with no guarantee you'll get your $1 worth.

Those are the inescapable facts.

Notwithstanding that point the feedback me and others have given on capsules are the direct reason for improvements, such as the loot picking.

Something you're now taking advantage of, now how's that for irony.

Considering I also fall into the group of those who dislike the TCs, I will comment.

I am not here to yell. I dislike them because it shows no value to hide behind progression with a fat wallet.

I personally like to earn my progression and feats through actual gameplay, skill, dedication and teamwork.

TCs are a representative of "I want it now, therefore I will buy my way through SP and gear progression just to say I am equal to those who have grinded and have gone through the pains of SP progression the hard way."

But, to each their own. Your opinion is that you would rather purchase your progression and keep up with the Joneses.

While those of us who think opposite..earn SP through ways I have mentioned earlier. As you see in my signature...I keep up just fine...and I haven't purchased a single key.

However, I can always tell who actually earned their SP and gear through the way they play...there is a difference.

FYI..I am not an equivalent to a homeless person. I just know where to draw the line when it comes to greed...TCs and gold purchase sites more than cross it. Sorry you hadn't seen that yet.
