What exactly is now dumb about my suggesstion? You can complain about luck with styles and rest assured more are going to be put in the vendor to cater to people who have had such "bad luck"... My suggesstion is something that wouldn't be in effect for a good while given how many pieces we currently have and how the were released... Me thinks you need to read through and actually understand what I'm writing... There is nothing awful about what I was suggessting... Boost running older content - Check Boost players spending money on replays to try to get said items - Check Boost stats on your toon - Check Have a unique set from all of your great luck - Pricelesssssssssss
Yeah like I said earlier, my brother and I were talking about "our" games and I thought it was a cool idea to bring to the table with a FB twist. I agree with both points you made. Yes, very few will complete it and it will probably never be implemented, BUT as we both know stranger things have happened in game.

I know my comment was off topic and I am totally frustrated with the grind after doing it twice on two different platforms. The idea is cool and and the set of OP seems like enough incentive for some of us to return and replay old content but those OP drops are so extremely rare that it's feasibility is very limited. It's not like we haven't run that content enough times when it actually dropped for the first time but despite all those runs only a very few lucky people have actually received some of that stuff.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say this again, “NO PIECE OF GEAR SHOULD FOREVER BE THE BEST PIECE OF THAT RESPECTIVE GEAR!!!” Have OP items scale would essentially be doing this and while I (and many others) don’t mind luck playing such a part in obtaining such gear, the limited nature of it, is the only saving grace. If DCUO had other mechanics for obtaining gear other the best gear other than raid drops and venders, I might and I mean MIGHT be more open to such an idea but since DCUO isn’t that type of game, I don’t think we need that type of loot. In the end, if you’ve lucked into an OP piece of gear or 4, then congrats and be happy that you’ve receive the best piece of gear for all roles… BUT ONLY FOR A LIMITED TIME!!!
-> get lucky OP drop -> get one 1 Tier later -> get more in later Tiers until you have the full set -> get extra buff for having the full set -> have OP stats and buff and no need to ever buy new gear again
To this day I've never even seen any of this stuff. Been playing Prime since the beginning and never once even saw the helm drop for anyone in any of my groups. I never even remember this stuff exists until I see it here on the forum. I actually just saw the helm style about a week ago for the first time as someone in a raid I was in put the style on for others to see what it looks like. Must you generally run and reset this stuff like crazy to get these items or what? I never much cared myself but I'm curious. I hear people talking about how they have two rings, are those people resetting A&B over and over and over? If so, well done marketing people.
I think they may have upped the drop rate. I got the legs twice in a week and the back once the same week a few weeks ago.
Allow me to repeat myself because you must of missed my OP... I said nothing about scaling per say. I said collecting the entirrrrrrre set to get a stat boost... Not to mention how hard that would be given how the drop rates are... I respect your opinion to each their own I guess. In the end, please refrain from making assumptions. Knowledge is power! I am not very lucky FYI
seeing how the head of op is the only rare style I don't have going to say no to this. They would need to increase the drop rate by a few not much but better than what it is. Yes some sp are luck based like its a shoutout keep coming close to it so many times 4/5 then we getting a group who clips everything and we lose
