Hello again bro. Very accurate test results u got here and i totally support it. Your second rotation is really a beast Boss melter, no doubt about it and many of our HL DPS brothers/sisters(female friends ingame ) are using your 2nd rotation. To tell you honestly bro, the 1st rotation's (N72) versatility for both single & multiple targets is very good BUT very boring, and the only thing that keeps me up doing it is because of the mobility/freedom in moving/adjusting positions around while doing it as i can run around while doing Chompers/Recharge. I really really wanted to use your second rotation bro but my issue with my loadout is i'm gonna give up one power possibly Light Barrier which is a life saver for me. I just hope the devs makes the necessary fix to HL soon enough so we can all adjust our loadout to give us more room and flexibility. Really appreciate your Test and Results bro and i'll be using your 2nd rotation.
Here is your Scoreboard Screenshot DarkNovaBlaze of your League Lockdown Run using N72 w/OP Necklace Drop. Gratz again for the Feat and OP Necklace Drop
but hopefully next month we will get a proper revamp in HL and all rotations will up for grabs! im sure with power return GU41 there will other loadouts to test! keep up the good work guys ... HL will be great again i assure you this!
I hope so. Kaiser did demonstrate a non-WM rotation using the power back mechanic. It consisted of a short weapon combo clipped with a power into a combo and another power into a combo clipped with chompers. Unfortunately this won't keep up with good players who use WM-burst but I believe it will still be viable. Just curious, would you guys prefer a rotation that's an endless combo where you start off with a power and then keep comboing into precision moves? Or a rotation that involves powers going into combos and then being clipped with other powers which also go into combos, like HL used to be? I personally really enjoy clipping and fast paced rotations. It's why I fell in love with HL in the first place, so it would be cool to see that as a viable option again. With the power back mechanic this could really work. And if they scale up our precision combo hits a bit it could be on par with WM-burst rotations.
I've always preferred the old ways of speed equals power. HL was my favorite dps class for it's raw speed. When the new update drops I'll try to do a speed loadout again to see of it's viable to compete like we use too
I"m with u guys on the HL Old Ways as our Speed Precision Clipping makes us a unique power from the rest Got another Scoreboard Screenshot here of another Lockdown PUG run earlier with a couple of wipe-outs and tries due to some players inconsistencies and lack of experience on raid mechanics and proper positioning. So we decided to change and invite an expert Tank and another DPS to help us out. Another thing with this is i've changed a tiny bit on my Skill Points Allocation with this run and i think it makes a whole lot of difference and i would also have been ahead more on damage-out if not for my 5 minute KO during one of the wipe-outs we've got
I don't see how scorecards are helpful in any way. And I even more don't see how PUGing Lockdown for 70 minutes is helpful whatsoever.
So that is your explanation on why this is helpful? Very constructive. I mean okay, it at least explains to me 'something'.
That's the reality of most PUG runs carrying and teaching people while on it. Or are you an elitist? No explanation needed on u huh?
You are not getting me, aren't you? I asked what purpose those scorecards serve for the thread being a hard light dps guide. PUGs often aren't representative for certain loadouts due to the inconsistency of those groups in terms of playstile and skill/abilities. You have shown numbers that you are on top, that is good for you, but what does it show besides that? And yet you often shown only the first page - and we all (should) know that there is more interesting information in the other pages. Yet I ask you again: Why are these scorecards helpful for a "hard light dps guide" and why are/should they be representative for something? I'd like to point out that I ask this seriously. Everything you did so far is assuming I think of me as something better and implying I'd be an elitist. A mature discussion is something way different...
I think you already know the answer to your question tbh, i think we all know that the score board doesn't show any real value of a dps/rotation, it's more of a little guide of total damage vs time then anything, and can be very misleading sometimes, and in regards to the guy you're quoting about it, he's just showing the scoreboard of him using his combo and what the total damage done was in that instance vs pugs, again, which has no real value or meaning to anything tbh, no disrespect to you or the other guy.
kaiser is an amazing player... on test when we run SM or Raids to test hes always looking for the best rotations for any power for damage... i can't beat him lol but there are others on PC servers that i cant beat! but as for HL i love the old ways i assure you when tunso gets a chance for the proper revamp for advance mechanics every HL player will love it !!! i consider myself a great HL dps and my attitude is if you cant stay with my damage then you are doing something wrong! im that line between whos good or bad... bad meaning im beating a player in dps by 2 mill... and this goes for all powers ! Gadgets , sorc, and rage IMO are a better powerset for damage and there isnt anything HL can do to beat these powers if you are going against really good players i was going to make more videos but because of the coming revamps i dont want to waist time but work on new loadouts! keep playing HL and learn the ways i promise the wait will be worth it!
I actually found the scoreboard screen shots helpful as it does give a ballpark look at the numbers other players are getting with their rotations on certain instances. So if you are playing the same one and your numbers are consistently below it, it would likely indicate that you might be able to do something to raise your numbers to be on par. That something might be your rotations, though it could simply be a difference in general player skill. So there is some use to the data.
Barely. At least in PUG groups. Without knowing the skill level of the other DPS, the damage numbers mean absolutely nothing. A crappy DPS can be on top and look "beast" if the other DPS are even crappier.
Why Chompers cancels SpikeQuake (and vice-versa)? Ok, 2 dot powers... but many powersets have lots of dots powers without cancelling each other.
Yeah I agree with this. In one of the runs Nemesir posted there was a Rage dps CR100 with 47 SP and was at the bottom with 1.5mill. That's basically free damage.
