Been running Prime BG alot recently =/ So its been giving me a good chance to work on some better rotations, I consider prime my weakest raid as all my rotations are designed to maximize aoe dmg and fan is pretty useless in Prime BG. Been trying Ram /WT /WD /C /HC /Ram repeat on Tech especially as Magic and Meta I got back to my normal rotation with ST /Fan. We just completed Prime BG in 3:25min last night and are trying to a quicker run today. Fraps has been funky lately but ill do my best to record my pov and get that up. I don't consider myself having any HL secrets =D I just do it faster
this might veer off topic might not but i'm entirely sure about how some HL player are able to Shoot off 2 rams instead of 1 tho i shoot 2 rams but it happens when i jump clip ram but it happens when i'm not trying i still don't understand how it occurs
I'm pretty sure you shoot off 2 ram's at once when your going at the optimal speed, the second ram in the animation doesn't actually count as damage just visual effects.
1. SSS for max ranged dps 2. I wouldn't recommend an infinite loop. Terminate an combo at whipthrash 3. ALWAYS clip the first WT
I'll do the testing or that buddy, but the mechanics don't sound very good for these reasons: 1. Fan and Hc are finishers, two finishers only work well if they both crit. Ram-Wt guarantees 1000 dps. 2. For buffing, the 50% effects only the power claw not HC. Still I will test it it for you.
HL COMMUNITY I NEED YOUR HELP: TEACH ME HOW TO MAKE A HTML CODE CALCULATOR. You help me do this and I'll make sure you can test things on your own
There is a useful maneuvre with WT if you do not target lock and change direction greater than the cone. I often find this happens in the first room of Wayward Souls. Say after a C-HC/etc I am in melee with a Soul and several spawn outwith my cone, I C-HC-Ram-WT and as soon as I hit WT on the front-facing soul I turn my camera focus at least 60degrees (outwith cone I believe) and clip with Claw. It is a little fiddly especially as WT can sometimes lock itself on a target regardless if you have it locked or not. It can't be perfected since the WT animation has a tendency to autolock but I find I can spread my WT damage if I turn my character (and target focus) away from the initial C-HC-Ram to nearby foes as soon as I combo into WT. Bishop
As Ludia has stated, double Ram is an indication that you are doing it at an optimal speed. The damage from the second Ram does NOT register.
That's the point two finishers together I did get crits doing that. Use a 1h ad do tap tap hold then c hc and snap trap fan. The number you will get will not disappoint.
Whats going on Omaar, Hey so i've been running your same load out for a while now, and i'm starting not to like having light barrier and the robot, i find the robot dies WAY to much, and light barrier doesn't reflect enough damage to be worth the power used. Right now i'm Testing with Light weight, and chompers. Chomper is more of PVP then PVE, but ive been doing C-HC/LW throw, with the add on to your R- WT/H-HC/LW throw, same twist with a added attacked. whats your feel?
HL'ers I am going to do the following testing and math. Please verify this with your OWN precision and might values. All values are taken as 35 % buffed. This is very important o end the might vs precision debacle. So let's begin: Might based powers: These average numbers are taken with 35% buff and 1950 might.(1950x1.8)/4= 877.5%. Meaning they all have a 1 + 8,775= 9.775 damage modifier Claw: 282, base claw: 282/9.775= 29 Ram: 135, base ram: 135/9.775= 14 St: 286, base ST: 286/9.775= 29 100 might would be (100x1.8)/4= 45% or 1.45 damage modifier Claws: 29 x 1.45= 42, difference= 42-29= 13 Ram: 14x1.45= 20, difference= 20-14= 6 ST: 29x1.45=42, difference= 42-29= 13 Precision based contructs: Average numbers are taken with 35% buff and 790 precision. The formula here is different, it goes as such damage= (weapon dps + precision/10 ) x CTSV. I call it CTSV for Constant Time Specific Value, the devs intended for a formula that states ( for weapons only ) that the longer it takes to pull off a move the longer the higher damage it gives. You will see CTSV used a lot in my upcoming guide. Now to calculate CTSV of some contructs. HC= 589=( 131+79 ) x CTSV, CTSV= 2.8 WT= 158=( 210 ) x CTSV, CTSV= 0,752 Fan= 459=210x CTSV, CTSV= 2.186 Rifle grenade= 308= 210xCTSV= 1.47 100 precision increase ( 10 +1 ) 1 being minimum weapon damage. HC=2.8x11=31, difference= 31-2.8= 28 WT=0.725 x11=8, difference=8-0.725=7 Fan= 2.186x11= 24, difference= 24-2.186= 22 Ram=1.47x11=16, difference= 16-1.47= 15 Lets take AAA and FFF: 100 might AAA: 13 + (6x3) = 31 100 precision AAA: (7x4) + 28 = 56 An increase of 180% 50/50 coming soon 100 might FFF: (6x3)x(1.5/1.35) + 13 = 33 100 precision FFF: (7x4) + 22 + 15 = 65 An increase of 197% 50/50 coming soon Everyone will please verify this math because I I'll do the online calculator accordingly.
No I don't use FFF, for Meta and Wolf Magic ill work in C /HC /Ram /ST /Fan /WD /C /HC /Ram /WT /WD repeat
