It's explained how we breathe in Atlantis, but how will they explain fire powers working and how you don't electrocute yourself with gadgets and electricity.

This is just video game logic. Don't think too far into it, don't ask questions, and just play the game. :p

We've been using our powers for a long time, we have practiced how to use them in different situations

Do you remember when we had those bubbleheads for the summer seasonal alert and it was actually kind of hard?
We were suppose to be under water there and our powers worked just fine...... AND.....
Because we're Sooper Heroes N stuff.

The exobytes open a dimensional portal between atoms, allowing you to set things on fire at a molecular level. This same power allows you to keep your fire in constant universal flux, avoiding contact with all atoms except the ones you want to burn. Voila. Underwater fire.

How does water healing work when you're surrounding by other water and your healing waters are instantly contaminated by dirty unhealing water.

I also hear all the electricity players have been given power respec tokens for this DLC.

You'd think that post would just give you the feels,

but then you'd have to remember that this game isn't real.

    Video game logic.

I definitely see what you are saying. It does seem unrealistic for fire to shoot from your hands or electricity to blast out of your face when you are underwater.

Whoa, I'm having trouble telling whether there's a tinge of sarcasm in this.

If so, congratulations. It's the perfect mixture of tongue-in-cheek humor, lol.

    If not, it could be.

    How I read the post:

"Yep, it's totally unrealistic to be able to bend the laws of time, space and gravity (such as by tunneling in a quantum fashion, destinating an arbiter, summoning a living golem of brick-like construction or turning yourself INTO A GORILLA) whenever you're... under the water. In the future, we'll attempt to make sure our superheroes adhere to real science, not imaginary invention."

    :eek::eek::eek:

Everyone knows that fire is deathly afraid of water, that's why.

I mean, do you walk into a bar and ask the peanuts why they haven't spoken to George Clooney for 12 years after what happened in Monte Carlo? I think not.

    So... insensitive.

I’d also like to add that fire extinguishers come in many varieties and pretty much never shoot water exclusively for this exact reason. Some kinds of fire don’t give a damn about water. :D

Water only works on a "Class A" fire (combustible materials such as paper, wood, fabric, etc).

Class B (flammable liquids), Class C (electrical), Class D (metals), and Class K (cooking oils and fats) would be made a lot worse with water.

Egads... we're getting all scientific here... :)
