Where did you hear about problems of Nvidia cards with DCUO? That's the first time I hear about something like that - and that means in the whole last two years...

Check if your PC has the minimum system requirements, toggle the V-sync option, make sure you don't have much harddrive usage while playing and check your internet connection speed and quality (data package losses?).

Finally you can also contact the DGC support. Just send them a ticket :).

Download 344.75 driver and install it.
Careful to install only the driver. You have to use custom settings to get that option. Keep the PhysX and audio driver. Only upgrade (actually downgrade) the vga driver.

Uninstall all the 3D components if you dont need them. Some times that components are also responsible for crashing games like elite dangerous.

It will solve it for you. Especially if DCUO freezes for some seconds and after that you get lag problems. Thats not DCUOs fault. Its nvidia fault.

344.75 is the latest stable nvidia driver. All the rest will add some freezes to your computer. Even make it hang randomly if you scroll down fast on browsers.

There is a long thread at nvidia's site for that and many of us that told whats really happening inside the new drivers got banned. Nvidia cares about speed, not stability. It will fix it at some point. anyway...

Now if by lag you mean texture loading lag spikes dont do anything of the above.
IF whenever you "lag" the light of your HDD is on then thats another matter and has nothing to do with the vga.
