Currently for gathering and collection detectors each has an indicator around the minimap that shows when either detector is active. No such indicator exists for Nth metal detectors. My suggestion is to use the North sign on the map and use it as an indicator for Nth metal detectors. Have it light up and glow yellow when one is active. Personally have a bunch of detectors and losing some time in between popping them because I have to open the action menu to check if its there is kinda a drag. Thanks for reading
There's a glittering aura that stays on your character for the entire duration of the detector but I agree there should also be an indicator on the mini map.
