The player community in this game is a bit toxic. Calling other people crybabies and bullying them with words, tell them to relearn the game that some of us has played since it came out ; yes I know, my forum profile only says active player, doesn't mean I don't read the forums, I just don't respond or write anything often. But what I am getting at is this, trying to get SP points is hard when you don't like to team with people that are bullies and toxic to other people. I have played one mission so many times trying to get this one feat in which it takes all group members to click on a statue in which there is always at least one person that doesn't do it even after you beg them to. And its not just one mission, its several. So unless you happen to be in a League or have some really good friends that you team up with all the time, some times trying to get those SP points are in possible. Another thing is that some of us can not be a fulltime pro gamer. Some of us has jobs, families, lives outside of DC universe and just can not commit the time needed to get those SP and some people needs breaks from the game because of these real life situations and therefore cant get some of the stuff that die hard gamers are able to get. Some of us got bored with the game through out the years and would leave and come back ; my problem, I know, I would play for a bit and then take several months to a year off because I didn't like how the game played or didn't quite understand the mechanics and frankly just didn't have time to learn all of it ; and then some of which had friends to team with, lost those friends some how, either because of them leaving to another game or their life style changed and they just couldn't play as often or left completely. But to get up there and trash talk people and act like your so much better than them because you were able either because of time and able to team with like minded people and was in a league that helped their people to get the SP, the CR ; I know, that really doesn't do anything anymore except get you into content that your not able to do ; and all the extra equipment for the buffs, makes it where some people does not want to team with anyone. I have been on teams where people would trash talk other team mates just to do it because they think its fun and there is no consequences because you are hidden behind a screen. I have seen this happen out in the open world in shout and say because they are hardly any repercussions to there actions if any. I can tell ya, if DBG actually put people in game to monitor what is going on and to ban people that is bullying and trash talking some things might change, but honestly, you couldn't get me to team with a lot of these people. A lot of them is actually on my ignore list. After reading through the forums in this topic, I am seeing more complaints about the revamp than I am seeing defenders and people liking it, and then the ones that or very vocal about them liking it are wanting to trash mouth the majority that doesn't like it. My experience from the revamp is that it seems like my 156 Ice tank is better than my 189 Fire tank in which I know why, my Ice tank has more SP, not by much, maybe 5 to 10 SP difference , didn't really pay attention this early this morning at 3am but I can definitely tell the difference, which is good, went through a solo that was 5 lvls higher than my Ice tank and actually was impressed, my 189 fire tank, not as impressed but I will get his SP up when I can. My issue is when go up against an elite boss that suppose to be way lower than me and get my butt handed to me, I mean come on, that Morrowbot is 89 going up against 156 tank, yeah it should have taken a bit but I should have beat it, and when the Minotaur and other open world bounties has gotten way too difficult, then that tells my that the elite NPCs in this game has gotten a bit too OPed and it sounds like I am not the only one that thinks that. So trash talk me if you want, doesn't matter to me, odds is I have you on ignore in game anyway, but I am letting my voice be heard to the DEVS which is what really matters if there is a bunch of people that doesn't like it, then something must be off, even if its just a small thing that is impacting a lot of things. If the game is fun, they will pay for it and play it, if not, they will find somewhere else to go. Me, it doesn't matter if I play or don't play, DBG already has my money to be premium, I will be premium til the game is no more, but if some things are not reworked since the revamp, I do not haft to spend any extra money with their online store for in game items, And they know that I have been known to spend a couple hundred a month at times for game cash. The thing is, I actually like this game because it is in the DC universe, I like this game because it is the closest game to what City of Heroes/City of Villains was, yet I saw NC soft do some of the same things that DCUo is doing, if it keeps on going DCUo will do the same thing the COH did, there is no more COH, and they were one of the first Super Hero MMOs and they stayed around for 10yrs and yet they still shut down. Test server is not a way of seeing what the public in the game wants and neither is the forum for that matter, you want to know what people thinks, send a survey to us in the ingame mail and give the population a chance to really know what they think about changes, not just a few that frequents the forums, and not the few that plays test either. I bid all of you good day and hope to see everyone around in the future.
Not only guys have you ruined this game, but you also ruined raids and alerts where people with high cr can't do any damage, good job devs, good job indeed. Also, fyi, I'mma go back to my old games until this matter is resolved, I don't know what kind of a nickle head thought it was sucha good idea to do a stat revamp, you are either dense, or didn't think clearly through this, DCUO is losing players like hell.
AGREED 100% The Devs only paid any attention to the feedback of forum players, pc testers on the forums etc. NOBODY LIKES THE NERFING !!!!! NOBODY LIKES THE RIDICULOUS CR DIFFERENTIAL !!!! Come on now, what were you devs even thinking.....
As I wrote in another post before: It's safe to say, that you have to reverse this patch as soon as possible, and release this "well tested, well designed" update, when its not 50% done.
I am not trying to argue with your concerns I just want to share my experience. I switched from XBox to PC last week and was only able to get to 171cr with 111sp before revamp went live. I main an Ice tank and with only 10 points into precision (low so gotta prioritize my shields lol) I was able to do much more damage per weapon combo that 200-300. According to my parser logs I was hitting max hits from 2k-5k off weapons with no crits (didn't spec any crit chance or magnitude since my sp is still so low). I had to play around with my loadout and get used to hitting those weapons combos again but it is doable. Don't give up, I think the more we all play this (and the more they tweak some legitimate issues) the more we will all come to like it more than the old AM smash and grab way of gameplay.
Actually test is show what ppl want and how much. All who were worried about the game and wanted to change something just tested and give feedback and almost everyone were satisfied with the results. But now lazy crybabies appeared on the forum and as always began to cry and threaten in the style of "you no longer get money from me". Such people come and go, not a great loss. At least, after that update game became more fun for good players that can adapt.

Ok, i have read most of comments here, Im from Brazil I do speak portuguese and elementary english, but I do think my english is very good to travel, to gamers, to deal with most people, Im in this game as well since 2011 and yes i have work so far and i have seen lots of Brazilians people work so far as well, SO IN NAME OF THE COMUNITY BRAZILIAN PEOPLE ALL I CAN SAY IS: DISAPOINTED! Yes of course, Its DISAPOINTED Mrs CEO, Devs, Managers, whatever okay whatever. You guys must to KNOW we are customers, without them you have NO SALARY, we pay YOU GUYS!!!! And YOU WORK IS MADE THE GAME CLEAR TO EVERYONE, wich is include me, my friends, who is reading, ramdom players, you mom, you dad, you cousin whoever okay? No one should be different or being judge by CR or SP i do agree. BUT comeon now, you guys made a TERRIBLE, HORRENDUOS Update, looks like MOST of players are being in hard time, most are PSICOLOGIC damaged and you MR DEVS, Managers, CEO, think its a good point? Tht only means members are bk on vets new all are members now...so queue in is longer if u mad now u wld bn piss before the merged the worlds...and I'm not talking PC merge I'm talking a whole different server I.e world is torn and redemption was the worse server to create a toon in
I understand the concept - get players to play their roles. Here's the problem: at tiers below cr 100 it's damn near impossible to get a full set of role gear, without which you'd have a tough time filling that role (especially IMO tanks). And of course, how will you get through the mission if the team isn't effective in their roles without role-specific gear? When you've got about half a full set, then the next tier is open to you, so why would you continue to stay at the lower tier? It won't help you get to the tier after that; you need to concentrate on the highest tier available to you. So when you actually become somewhat effective for a tier, it's probably time to move on to the next. So maybe make all gear in the game unattuned? -Well that would actually allow people to move up CR even faster, but at least they'd get the chance to make every piece role or dps right from the first drop they get.
I hate this "Revamp", sorry i play the game for fun, i buy and pay all the Dlc's and another things. This is not the game like's me. Not my DCUO. Im not happy. I Hate the new game. I want my money back. I feel robbed.
