Interesting to see so many auras and materials. This could be really nice if the drop rate is appropriate. IF the drop rate for all this is extremely rare though this will be a nightmare. I will cross my fingers for now and hope for the best.
so is only the bought ghostly aura tradable to characters on the same account? i've gotten another ghost aura on a character i can't use it on rather than the one i had intended on adding it to and now i'm stuck with it.
Are there any plans to correct the typo that has been in the mission objectives for The Witching Hour for years now? The objective is to 'Absolve' masked apparitions, but absolve means forgive -- an odd thing to do by punching something to death. The word that should be used is 'Abjure' which means cast out or get rid of.
DCUO is not using the word absolve wrong. It's your misunderstanding what is being said and being done. Let me help you understand what is going on here. In this instance, Absolve is to set free or............... in other words Absolution of the dead. We are not forgiving these souls we are setting these tormented souls free to pass from the punishment & pain of being in purgatory. If you have ever stepped into a church or studied a religion, any religion in real life or in make believe you would & should know this.
There are no modular versions of the Green Doomed Aura, even though it clearly states "Plus, modular versions of all of the above!". There is also no Yellow Hacker Material. I'm guessing its a typo for Yellow Forcefield Material.
I noticed too, sent Mepps a pm about the yellow forcefield, I think yellow hacker is the typo for sure, since the original is yellow
Question for the devs, i completed the Gotham's dark beating heart collection and received the tattered cloak of corruption. Is it intended to be not tradeble? Can you maybe consider make it account bound? Thanks in advance.
This pissed me off yesterday, I completed the collection and wanted to send it to another toon and just reset the feat on my main, I don't understand why the rewards aren't at least account bound... Well I do understand actually, but I would have to put on my tin foil hat when stating the reason. Now I have to wait till the rewards are available on style unlock, however long that takes
So DCUO is more focused on styles and auras than powers and content? No wonder why people say the game is dying. Priorities are backwards. The last 2 DLC were trash. The developers should concentrate on actual content to keep those who been there since day one interested. And focus on making new powers for the game. I’d take a new power over some crap aura or material any day of the week. Developers suck. You need fresh people with fresh ideas. That’s how businesses grow. And I honestly don’t think the developers pay any attention to people on the forums. As long as there’s dumb people out there buying replay badges and spending actual money on this game aside from memberships for resets and styles nothing will change. Yes I’m calling out all the developers for this game. You spend more time on crap like eye patches and pirate hats instead of challenging content. The mentors are useless ESPECIALLY Superman. And nothing is being done about it
Yes, same here. They should make it clearer if somethings tradable or not. i'll just wait collecting it for a bit cause they have changed tradable/account bound items before so im hoping for that scenario.
Unfortunately the disrespect of the devs towards the players only worsens, lack respect to us, and lack much, the drops are terrible, the number of items that one needs to buy is scary, you do more feat BUYING A CAPSULE than playing all day , everyday. Having many characters is now a burden. And acquiring all the items of this new capsule costs on average 600 million. One more shot in the foot, more reasons for more players to stop, worse is knowing that the devs will continue to ignore the empty servers and will do the few who can buy cosmetic items linked to feat until the day the company admit the truth: no longer has to sustain and we will close the doors " Thanks developers you are slowly killing the game, and with no respect for who signs and always played from the beginning.
