Novice T2 Kahndaq isn't novice & has some issues.

Yes, I said it. The NoviceT2 kahndaq is not for the novice. Then add in other issues and we have a hot mess.

I've attempted to blind Q this one 6-7 times in a row tonight and about 10-15 times since revamp release with the same results using at CR tank. The biggest issue that I see is that there are way too many things going on at one time for newer players. It all starts at the beginning with the four rocks and goes downhill from there. I'm not saying super nerf it but it needs some help for new players. New players are novice players and need to be treated as such.


I think slowing the spawn times & NPC spawns within novice Kahndaq will work wonders.
Stop throwing wrenches at the novice players.

This is exactly what's happening. Ouch!!!


A couple issues that I found.
NPC's spawning in player spawn area. NPC's are also spawning close enough to the entrance that they run into the player spawn area next to the cola / repair vendor and attack players while trying to do things at the vendor. LOL

When you start the instance at the rocks and the video starts playing the npc's start & continue to attack the rocks while video is playing. I think I remember this one from a 3-4 years ago.

One of the runs the rocks were bugged as well, they kept spawning enemies, who continued to attack the rocks, but they never were destroyed (the rocks) and didn't have a countdown timer either. Ended up just leaving since you're basically stuck at 1 rock.

Yes, I can confirm this bug as well. I totally forgot about that one. I had this bug happen 3 or 4 times over the past few days.

Kudos on the video btw. I definitely reflects most of my experiences running lower content at level. Lol.

I LMAO at this one too because it's a good example as well. LOL, I was in tears after watching these two and thinking about all the fails I was a part of with all new players in Kahndaq.

i decided to check things out for myself.

i was shocked.

this wasn't novice. it was the regular version. took a bit for the queue to pop. actually went into and finished WC. anyway i bet all those low cr's felt relieved when they saw a 206 and 187 cr in the raid. don't think they would have made it past the first rock if we werent there.

Shhh the revamp is perfect.

i actually didn't get some better stuff into that snippet. i clipped the vid from the wrong starting point. i could have posted the whole 15 minutes, took about 20 to finally get to the first boss. i was playing an awkward loadout. i just slapped it together.

i was going to walk in but the queue popped.i'm trying to find the right area where i can do some decent testing but with the out of control cc effects it wouldn't matter much. the cc effects in the batcave raids were insane before the revamp when you solo'd. you'd get hit with everything. i can only imagne what its like now. maybe trigons prison...

I liked the part where dead kris died... and no one picked him up.

they actually tried kicking him at one point. i opted out of doing pick ups simply because at more than a few points thats all i would have been doing. that plus the cc effects and interruptions were non stop. chances are i would have kept getting interrupted til the revive cog timed out.

felt much harder than i remember it being back in the day and at tier it wasnt the easiest of raids. was fun tho.

Qued in earlier today as soon as I entered mobs at entrance killed me. Later rock glitched. Went to leave and mobs teleported to entrance and killed me lol. Like they warped there killed me then warped back to original position

Damm... you guys had some 100+CR players in there.
Heck you were 206 CR....

And still you guys had to fight tooth and nail.

How can a group at level even hope to complete missions now??

Did a few Alerts since yesterday.... and I see a scary pattern emerging.

People kick out the lower CR players and invite their 200+CR friends.

And that was with players already overgearing the content.

Heck in Demon's Plan I was the lowest CR at 162.... but luckyly I was the Troll.
So they kicked the lowest CR DPS to invite a 200+CR who ended up Tanking because we had no Healer.

People cannot do the content at level.... so they leave or they kick players and invite their High CR friends.

In response to the topic, the vids and staying in theme.

I don't like to take my lower cr alts into the lower raids like Kahndaq since the revamp because "nobody makes me bleed my own blood".

They'll probably be on the forums complaining that higher level CRs came into their mission and ruined all their fun. Shame on you.

Strange how only on the Forums do you have people complain about high CR in low level missions.

In game... people kick the low CR to invite their high CR friends.

yeah i'm starting to see that happening again.

they should add a feat. KanDUCK! avoid getting hit by an add for more than five seconds...

Whats really sad is yesterday on reset day this is all i did. I ran my main through the t8 dailies as well as my primary alt. didnt even bother going after the dox bounty. just not really caring.

funny because whenever i used to go into old content i was always careful to make sure everyone in the group got a chance to shine. not always the case. quite often it was the lower cr players who were impatient, poor team players and the ones to jump ahead and start things without caring about the rest of the group.

now i just dont feel like queing up for much of anything.

They are lucky if they make it past the first rock.

I have been able to get an at CR group ( me included ) past the first rock after explaining to them to get tanks on both sides of the tents but it's still way TOOoooooo much. Second rock NOPE....Third tank started pulling the adds to the rocks standing right in front of them......LOL Then the group started quitting. This instance was not run by any of the dev team at CR that's for sure. LOL
