We really enjoy the game, but the mini map icons is way too small for her, and she would like to move it to a place that she can glance at easier. She has very bad eye sight, so does this game have like addon support that lets her do that? Only being able to play 30 mins a day because of UI causing her eyes to hurt really does suck.
Not directly related, but I had a good friend quit because he was color blind. Often he couldn't tell he was standing in the one shot AOES, he got so tired of needlessly dying he quit. Stated the DEVs could have made them more visually noticeable so that people like him could differentiate between standing somewhere safe, and an unsafe area. I miss that guy, he was awesome.
There are limited customisation options. Recently theya added the poption to enlarge text chat significantly, which is a start. Also try to look through the other UI options, some might resize it a bit.
Is there a way to toggle off some of the mini map icons? I think they all blend in to her. All the green and other players.
I have a friend who is color blind and he see gray. So i just say to his look at the good point you get the rarest auras, and just need to collect 1 of each type. Then we just lol.
There is an option to hide/display player names based on faction I think... maybe try out what it does? I never tried it.
PS4 supposedly has a mode for colourblind players. Of course, these can't do miracles, but they help players with mild forms of colour blindness.
When I used to play Everquest (on PC) they did have a timer you could set to alert you when your set playing time was up. I know thats not much help to you, but perhaps it is an option devs could look at in the future? Just a thought.
