No Repair Vendors in Survival Mode?

Having a free repair bot in there doesn't make it any less hard. At some point it won't matter if your gear is totally broken or not you will die all the same. This is just a money grab to get people to buy repair bots. If we can bring our own then what is the difference in already having one in the instance. At least during the break there could be one implemented.

And it doesn't matter how much skill you have, if your gear is broken you won't survive a sneez from any boss or add.

SM is designed for the utmost challenge for the most hardcore players.

YOU, in particular, do extraordinary things in this game. I guarantee with every one of your accomplishments you made - both of those videos in your sig for example - required alnost as much time preparing for those runs than actually running them. Its a factor of being prepared for the instance. Gear, SP, loadouts, repairs, soders, supercharge. The idea is to que in to SM with all of those at the ready if you wish to progress.

The fact you que'd in with 70% gear - no matter what the reason - already sets you back. Next time.... come completely ready. Repair bots, prior knowledge of mechanics, extra gear, IDC what. Theres several ways around no vendor, and not all of them are from the marketplace - people just simply dont want to do more legwork to overcome the repair obstacle.

Then, on top off all that.... how many of you actually went far enough into survival mode where several players in your group had completely broken gear? Thats the part I dont get. All this talk about repairs, and most of you havent even encountered the problem yet.

That was implemented recently. My toons are older than a year. Back then you were not givin radar enhancers and repair bots when leveling.

i don't see why i should go at some repair vendor before getting into an instance...i go into the instance > use the repair vendor of the instance > start instance...

why SM should not have a repair vendor at the hall? at the hall means that you can't repair after that the instance is started...so, why not?
it's just for convenience, every instance has a repair vendor at the hall

fellas i think one of the reasons they dont have repair bots in there is to increase sales for repair bots. I am sure others probably have come to the same conclusion as well. I mean seriously when was the last time you went to the market place just to buy a repair bot? lol

I've said this before - there should either be a repair bot available at some point (such as the half way mark), or there should be no way to use repair bots at all - the whole argument and concept of survival is missed when the players can purchase something that can be used at any point within the instance to circumvent it.

How is it considered skill by buying repair bots instead of having a free one in there? If they put one in there it would not change the challenge of the content one bit. Sure not dieing will fix the problem of not having to repair as much but you do damage your gear just by taking damage. There is no way you can play it and not take damage. Over time gear will become broke just by playing the content.

Yea that was just changed awhile ago. U were not always given those. When i leveled my 1rst toon a year and a half ago i got no repair bots or any of that.

Agreed. They are saying if u spend $ on repair bots u have an advantage over the people that dont. Imo thats wrong. Either put a repair bot in there or dont allow any1 to bring any in at all. Idc either way but it needs to be fixed.

Amazing how test no one complained about SM, except for it giving marks which promote progression, and that's not supposed to happen. Yet not one day on live and people already asking devs for help. I still wonder why devs even bother making hard content if all people will do is complain. "Oh having a repair bot on you doesn't have to do anything with skill", WRONG, skill isn't only knowing your power set, it's also knowing the game, being ready for the worst possible situation. That's what SM is, NO devs shouldn't put a vendor in at any moment because we're supposed to know enough of the game at CR 100 to always have at least one ready. YES you should be repaired before you enter the event, btw not everything has a vendor when you enter, Solos don't have one, and if you do PVP then you know that doesn't either. If you can't beat it then look at everything and not just one thing, maybe it's just not for you, after all devs said this was only for the hard core gamers, btw i've still to pass wave one but honestly i don't care, i just do it to have fun and kill some time. Also seeing the ridiculos request for groups on LFG just makes me wish it was over already, people keep focusing on speed over all, and that shouldn't be a priority on SM.

It is just not possible to play more than 3 rounds without repairing your gear, especially DPSes have these problems. Anyone who's trying to tell me it's possible, please make a video of you playing survival mode as DPS 4 rounds and show me that your gear is intact.

So if you want to get to round 7 you HAVE to repair. No other way. Even the best players on the server have to repair to get that far. So don't say it has to do something with skill, that's unrealistic.

And to NOT put an repair unit in there is just money-grubbing. Nothing more. A good group who will survive some rounds is FORCED to BUY these repair bots in marketplace. And that's pay-to-win. I greatly dislike that and really hope they will add a repair unit to that instance.

LOL Dude, he soloed a mist bounty as a troll the first week they were out. He soloed the first encounter in nexus as a troll. He soloed Trigon's Prison as a troll. He essentially soloed half of Paradox. Skill is not what he lacks. You have absolutely zero clue what you're talking about.

Also, Survival is your basic tank and spank. It's not really skill that's required to run it. Just fast reflexes. Players like you don't seem to realize what real skill is.
