I get the impression the Devs did not redesign the Watcher intentionally so that players would choose to use the other pets, as they've been neglected. Justifiably so, since they were worthless for a long time.

Let's all pray their AI revamp does the new visuals justice.

I don't think Watcher will change because the floating burning eye is an elegant awesome. The other two were boring, so props to the devs for this.

Now, can I get a similar bump in quality for brick and crystal? (Although then the old ice armor is just gone.)

I bet a lot of sorcerers are gonna wear the Spectre hood & druid legs when this goes live.
