Decided to make an alt on the hero side to see how the other side live, wont be doing that again in a hurry
So came across this today about trolls:
Trollers are just suppose to CC and damage if you are running out of power it is your fault that's why you have soders

What I came across in Khandaq:
Electric Healer who wasn't healing, in full DPS gear and wearing a troll necklace?
Troll that wasn't using POT or power dumping
DPS using nothing but Iconic Powers
Kicked everyone they could to bring in their mates who were just as bad

Of the 4 T1 alerts all were done with 4 DPS, 3/4 had people wearing pvp gear until they kept dying and got the boot

Your describing a normal everyday pug experience.

The simple solution is to join a guild and avoid this type of scenario.

Sounds like u had a bad run. Just the other day I did fine on an alt doing t1/2 raids. Only issue we had was a few dcs on the controller but amazing we get another right away. I too am trying the other side. But I fear villain side may not have enough ppl doing low tier stuff. Once I get to 30 ill see
  6. Rhinosus13 Loyal Player

you can get away with not having a league on the villain side never knew it was this bad on the hero side

Villains and heroes are the same.

Kids try to say they aren't to justify their initial choice.

Most villains actually play on the hero side. Most heroes have villain alts.

    ikr?

Also, what's wrong with a DPS who plays with Iconic powers? If he can get the job done, there's no reason to complain.

Lol. All villains must be bad at the game cos this guy didn't even know that...

The funny thing is, I've come across equally awful players in villain attempts in Khandaq.

sadly this is how it was for me. i leveled three toons since the revamped leveling system. thing is you have 80 some marks by the time you hit level 30 so you are super quickly to tier 2. how can you revamp the leveling system and not add in a tutorial at level 10 and again at 30 for the support role of your power? it can not be hard do something like they did with the bases for home turf.

I believe he is referring to the troll neck mod, not the actual piece of gear itself
  14. Rhinosus13 Loyal Player

Or the likely reason was that he was a troll power and switched to electricity while wearing the neck piece hence why when I checked his gear it came up it bright red letters

he wasn't getting the job done though, not even close to it 13k damage out by the time we reached black adam and had been there since the start
  16. Rhinosus13 Loyal Player

    Maybe its just that raid

Only one thing you said really had anything to so with a persons attitude. The rest were people not knowing what to do, but that's not their fault. I didn't have a friend to show me the ropes so I had to learn from scratch when I first started playing. I taught my self 85% of what I know today because the game does not tell you "this is this role and this is what you do". I had no idea about the forums or the DCUO Wiki. It's so unfair and I honestly think this is where most of the population quit. When things happen they have no idea about. Honestly, people who don't know deserve the benefit of the doubt. I get so mad when I see players smash other players about not knowing what to do. This is exactly like degrading someone with a disability. It's not their fault, so please, cut them some slack, everyone.

I thought it was impossible to wear pvp gear in pve instances now?
  19. TrueOlympus New Player

its possible. But the stats are completely negated so its like going in missing gear or completely naked. can still have it equipped through

I understand that and I don't mind teaching newer players just not in the middle of a raid and after I've sent multiple tells to these people asking why are they in pvp? can you not switch to pve gear since pvp gear doesn't work in pve stuff? Are you able to keep your POT up? Do you know what POT is? etc etc and getting silence in return what else can I do but vent my frustration on the forums and I get there's no oh your a healer here's how you play tutorial and people are still learning there alt roles but there are 5 pre level 30 alerts that people can practice on as well as the T1 alerts once they are abit more experienced before jumping straight into Kahndaq and as for the wearing pvp gear in pve it says in the description that it cant be used in pve
