New Hair Styles

I know that there has been thread after thread of this but I wish the devs would take a hint and add new hair styles. Personally I would rather have new hair styles then skimming as once you start to make characters the hair styles become very limited. For one there should be more long hair styles. Maybe a straight hair style for Women like Lady Shiva. I would also like to have Fire/Starfire's hair styles. Other good hairstyles on Women would be Black Canary, Lois Lane, Query. Also there are no long hair styles for Men and this is a big problem as I am sure that many people want to make a Male character with long hair. I would also like a nice 80s mullet for Men as well.

This is a dead issue as the devs have said there are visual clipping issues with the various styles that would need to be solved in order to add new hair styles.

While that doesn’t mean we won’t see new styles, they’re just not a priority when you factor in how much work would need to be put into adding them.

The hairstyle I really want would be female metal head without the pigtails. And yes I know you can just put on a hat but it would be nice if I didn't have to

The whole: "we need to figure out a way so the new hairstyles wont clip bla bla bla..."
Every damn head style clips big time with the legacy hairstyles and they never EVER fix it.
So why bother about new hairstyles clipping? Just make a marketplace bundle with 8-10 new hairstyles, shut up and take our money.

I always found it hilarious that female characters have so few hairstyles, while the mens list of styles goes on & on & on & on...

Same hairstyles with different facial hair selections is what makes that messy list so long lol

What? We're not allowed to have bearded ladies too? LOL

As stated, it's all the same hairstyles but with the same three or four variants of facial hair. Not only that, it makes the list an absolute nightmare after character creation when trying to buy a new hairstyle because they're all named differently, and have a very vague reference to what they actually are. Good luck ever finding the proper facial hair with the proper head hair in that god-forsaken pit of despair.

With all the new hairstyles seen/added in HoP, it was the perfect time to introduce these to the players. I don't want to hear this "well clipping is an issue" BS...THE PLAYERS DNT GIVE A $#!7 IF THEY CLIP. Half of the styles I have been using since I started playing are still all F'd up &/or clip many others. Just release the new hairstyles already...I dnt understand why the DEVS have things COMPLETED they can easily add but they sit on them until people either, get entirely frustrated, give up, &/or stop caring. Dnt wait 1-3 years & then act like your giving us some new amazing thing, which we know has been the common practice over the years. Everything is always months late & a dollar short. Learn to strike when the iron is hot.

Yes, I will state again. The "clipping excuse" doesn't work. Tons of items in the game now already clip with other items and people still use them all the time (example: punchline's sign). I have even worn some styles w/ other styles specifically because they DID clip and looked cool that way (example: metal head hair w/ different helms). As a designer you make your best faith effort to limit clipping and then let the player decide if they want to use it or not….

not to mention the biggest issues being "clipping with head, shoulder, and back pieces" one, most female toons that want long hair don't like capes. two, over 60% of the shoulder pieces clip with pretty much every style except the one they are specifically designed for. three, most people want new haristyles because they don't want to wear the head styles available.

Most of the newer head and face piece clip with most of the hairstyles. And here is a tiny spoiler alert when the new dlc come out a lot of the hair styles will clip with the chest and head piece of the ss armor.

I really think they should add another category called head accessories. Removed all the beard and hair combos for males. Keep only the top of head hair for both genders under hair. Add 5-10 more to each gender.

And add beards for males under head accessories. And add a few other things under head accessories like jewelry, scars, and makeup.

We keep asking for new hairstyles and skins and they keep ignoring us.
I found it curious and lame that hairstyles is the only customization category that never EVER was updated since launch (going for 4 years soon, unbelievable we didnt got any new hairstyles in a custom superhero mmo)

Yeah that is ridiculous alot of things clip in the game. Personally I don't care if they do clip on somethings just so we get new hairstyles.

Yeah I know hairstyles is basically the only customization that hasn't been updated and it is ridiculous. They update the game with more extravagant and sometimes senseless stuff but they keep out new hair styles which is what every one wants.

Oh and another hair style I forgot to mention that would be cool to have is pigtails. Harley Quinn or like Baby-Doll in her second appearance styled not the Metalhead stye.

It would also be cool to have Whisper A'daire's hairstyle as well.

ps3 cant handle anymore. when it goes only to ps4 and pc ,,,, we could see ALOT more stuff, but until then.... i wouldnt count on it, if ur a ps3 only player.

Like for real, clipping is a non issue since they give us styles of gear that clips with the hair we have currently. Weak excuse.

Apparently clipping is one of, if not the most serious problem the game faces and there's no way we players could be trusted with a choice that might end up with hair clipping other stuff from time to time.
