So ... any sign of the collection pieces from last year that had to be purchased? Specifically Justice League Report: Starro and Relic from Planet Hatorei? I've been sitting on a pile of last year's cash just waiting to be able to finally purchase them. (as I recall, one cost 200, and I've been holding onto 199 since the last day last year just to buy it)
All last year collections (including vendor pieces) drop from the Starro Loot Boxes completed those on test from the boxes, you can buy a box for 30 crowns or have them drop i believe from the owner reward boxes (or whatever they're called now). Those boxes also drop OP items, the starro trinket, conqueror styles, enhanced conqueror styles & the asteroidea styles too.
Why do we keep getting only one of each member gift?? If you guys add style unlocking at some point i hope we can unlock the gifts through that too
That Deluge poster with Black Manta looks amazing! I like that there are flying Starros now just like in my old trailer! That "one per account" kills the member gift stone dead though.
Did my first run-through today and really enjoyed it for the most part. (except for when some miserable tool didn't care for my FILMATION Aquaman cosplay I'm actually seriously tempted to create a new alt just to keep him in play all year round instead of just having my speedster pull double duty) I gave the free gifts to my existing water heroine TSUNAMISAN strictly because she has a base that is more fitting for that Margwar critter. This is the worst episode that you guys have ever put out! I can’t believe that you think that this is ok!?!? This is the same stuff that we played last year! One new raid and solo doesn’t constitute an episode. You are ruining this game! Seriously wth are you guys thinking???
It stems from the mistake in believing that a Major Event would be considered new content last year; and for whatever reason, Starro was not considered new content for the game then (and by extension now). The sad part is that it would appear the same mistake has been made this time. The Superman Anniversary content (assuming there’s a decent amount of it) should have been the new DLC with Starro permanently added back to the game as a bonus. The roll out was done backwards, so we’re now repeating the backlash we had last year. Superman Anniversary will be seen as not new content because it’s not labeled as a DLC, and Starro is not new content now. Of course, this all assumes there actually is playable Superman Anniversary content and not just a string of gifts. The bottom line - it would seem Daybreak needs a marketing person to sit in on the development meetings. This stuff has to be sold, and that starts with design. Marketing has an uphill battle to fight after everything is finished and ready to shove out there.
I did enjoy this Starro Event but defeat 329 baby Starro's is crazy lol I finished everything and wanted to know is there more coming? Cause it just stops and we don't even get to fight Corum Rath? Which I didn't even know who he was until you guys posted about him on FaceBook and the funny thing was during the mission were he popped up no one knew who he was LOL I really like the new teleporting system on the Map. I've said it before and gonna again I'd love to see Lobo (not that New 52 one) and Nuclearman added to DCUO Please
Very disappointing the gift is only one per account. The material and base items look nice and would love them on all my alts.
Oh gross! They did a SuperOdo to AquaDork!! Did they really have to change the entire model just to change the outfit? As for the 'one gift per account', not surprised anymore, they have long been dismissive towards alts

Several people leave a phase to go to one where people are fighting the giant Starro. Or, possibly, existing passes are full, so you were sent to a brand new phase.
We had this same issue last year in the second month of the event, when the giant Starro bounty was added. There would be several seemingly dead phases because people would leave them for one where people were fighting the giant Starro bounty. It will likely be an issue for the first week or so, while people are finishing off the feat for beating it 105 times, then only the first day or so of each week, when people are doing the bounty for marks.
