My god... Another batman/gotham episode... you guys do know there are more heroes in DC than Batman. I am willing to venture a guess there are more gotham maps than any other area. Thousands of DC heroes and villains, and you only focus mainly on Batman. in a far distant second you do wonder woman and superman after that. you did flash one time. Yea you did teen titans once and flash once, but batman has be overdone. We haven't seem martian manhunter since the leveling missions. Same with Zatanna Where is an episode on the others like: Blue Beetle Captain Atom Firestorm Swamp Thing Vixen Star Girl Animal Man Jonah Hex Black Lightening Plastic Man Elongated Man Arsenal Fire Ice Hourman S.T.R.I.P.E. Mary Marvel The Marvel Family Hawk and Dove There are hundreds others.... But you guys really only focus on .000000001 percent of all the DC characters. Why?
This isn't a Batman episode. Zatanna is a boss in the solo. Wondergirl too. It's a episode about magic beings and Hecate wanting to take all magic away. The only reason Batman is there is because it's happening in Gotham City. Swamp Thing is a boss in the alert & vendor. Deadman too.
I think you should rewatch the Devs VOD because you completely misunderstood this episode. This is not a Batman episode. Just because he's there does not make it one. He's only a quest giver, and follows you around in the alert. That's about it.
Probably because they're the most popular and iconic characters and therefore most likely to appeal to the largest portion of playerbase, as opposed to a few comic book nerds. I neither know, nor care who most of the characters you listed are. I generally barely pay attention to DC lore within this game, so it doesn't matter to me personally if an episode is centered around some more obscure characters and storylines - like the last 2 - but I imagine it matters to many. I don't see a lot of kids in the game, cosplaying as... uh... Elongated Man. lol
Bruh...did you even watch the stream? How the hell do you take this as a Batman episode? Last time when you were promoting your own web, you made it pretty clear that you are tired of DC, so make yourself a favor and delete the game and move on.
I think the DLC looks pretty good.... Sure, the open world is just another modified version of Gotham... But, the story seems good. (and not a "Batman story") Yeah... the raid is another "patchowork-y/limbo-y" version of reality... again. (Like how many times can we look at ruined versions of iconic buildings floating off in the distance?) Yeah... All the bosses seem to be old characters that we've fought before or are just "corrupted" versions of existing characters.... No new villians to be seen (yet) And: You are correct that the DC Universe isn't being fully tapped.... Warworld? Warlord's Skartaris (both just seen in the new animated Justice Leage movie)? Dinosaur Island?... So many other locales and worlds.... But... The focus on the magical side of DC is very much appreciated.... and I look forward to October.
Love the Dlc they add lot new stuff building etc ambient sound etc IU really like the feeling spooky stuff and all the items and styles are probably my favorite so far
Zatanna is typically featured as part of Justice League Dark in the comics. This is a Justice League Dark episode so it’s about as good as it’s gonna get when it comes to featuring Zatanna.
Prime: Okay JLD episode *Sees Batman 1 time* Prime: WHY IS THIS A BATMAN EPISODE!? Also, Batman sells. Superman Sells. Wonder Woman sells. Tough pill to swallow but its actually not. Also, this is LICENSED game. DiG can come up with amazing stories and directions but the characters that gets used or even at times what comes out must and has come in line with WB/DC. If you dont like whats being done, please be sure to write or call your local WB/DC COngressperson.
It's not a Batman episode, Batman is probably my favorite character in the DC universe, except for the edgier stuff like Dark Knights and I know he has a tendency to get overused at times, so I appreciate what you're saying, but this is not a Batman episode. He's in the episode as somewhat of a cameo part because it makes sense to include him.
Notice anything odd? Yeah, there's no Robin! Because he was already licensed off to another company. This happens with a LOT of characters nowadays. So DCUO may not even have the option to use them. And since it takes years for some projects to get off the ground no one may ever know they're off limits. So going by your list of characters... Captain Atom Plastic Man Arsenal Fire Ice S.T.R.I.P.E. Mary Marvel The Marvel Family Those are the only ones I think are up for grabs. All the rest are tied to past, current, or future projects. And yes, even though a production (Gotham TV show, Swamp Thing, etc...) may be cancelled. That doesn't mean the company that bought the rights still can't hold onto them for a specific period of time.
I hear you. Haven't watched a live stream of any sort all year, so I can't speak about it, but I understand wanting variety. I look forward to playing JLD Dark Cursed, but would also enjoy running content in a story about the characters you mentionedmentioned. Maybe sometime in the future if the rights clear... Hahahaha I seriously love the snark ROFL bravo
Not sure. All I know is that this thread started giving me flashbacks of when Rage and Celestial were first unveiled, and complaints were coming about how they were just "reskins" of Light and Sorcery, respectively.
Show us that you have horrible understanding issues without telling us that you have horrible understanding issues. This episode is not about Batman. It just happens in Gotham, but it is about magic. Geez, some people just WANT to whine...
