“A vast threat approaches, and you - with your allies - will need to be stronger than you are now to face it. To get stronger, everything must change.“ … salt rubbed in my wound
I made a little guide to help players get started with some information on how Ep 41's changes affect gameplay. Devs, please let me know if you see anything incorrect, or can clarify some of the unknowns I've listed. Ep 41 Stat Clamp Quick Start Guide | DC Universe Online Forums (daybreakgames.com)
Not at all a fan of being forced to random queue, id prefer the option to pick as i like to run old things, but what i want, when i want. Everything else is alright
System seems to work just as they desired. At least right now with everyone trying it out. You queue random to fill in quick or you queue something specific and random queues join you. Even in slow times this might mean you can gather up a couple people and queue together so omnibus can fill.
You still can. Select Custom Play at the bottom left of the On Duty Mode Select U/I & it brings up the standard On Duty menu where you can pick exactly which instance you want.
The daily/weekly quests tell u you have to use the randomness feature, unless im missing something, that means the stuff u manually select will not count, right?
No, they all count. To verify this, queue up & complete Science Spire using Custom Play instead of the random method.
Happy to finally have my earned Kryptonian Commander & Medico feats + all the hero sets i had from lockboxes, haven’t seen that many feats flood my screen in awhile
You answered that a bit confusingly. He's asking do you have to use the Save the Universe U/I to make those instances count toward the weekly. The answer is no, you can use Custom Play as well. No matter how one queues for Science Spire, Phantom Zone & Power Core, those three instances will count toward the weekly mission.
From what I've seen so far on live, if the intent of Stat Clamping was to create more frustration & infighting amongst players, then mission accomplished!
I've had the opposite experience, thus far. Not trying to argue, just saying my experience has been different. It's still super early, regardless.
