Did you replace a piece of gear that you didn't on the DPS side? Overall CR is based off everything regardless of role.

Max CR has, for quite some time, been the aggregate weighted average of the best pieces of DPS and support gear you have had in your inventory (unattuned gear not included). Therefore, it's entirely possible to have equipped CR in each role be less than your max CR. I think that's what you're seeing.

Ok. After reading the other posts above and below this one I am guessing you were mostly venting about the others stuff and upset about the cr change. From the sound of it, it seems that when you equipped gear for your off role (troll) it increased your overall cr. Probably because your overall cr is based off of the best gear you have regardles of its role. Example would be if on your dps side you have a cr of 116 and the head piece is cr 98. Then you equipped a cr 102 on your Troll side. The cr 102 overides the cr 98 when determining your Overall cr, but not when figuring your Equiped cr.

Thanks guys for explaining. Ok, I was not aware the system worked this way. If this is the case I have unintentionally reached 117 and shot myself in the foot and pretty much totally ruined my game. If I could turn back the clock to stay at 115 116 I would. As I would then be able to enjoy running the T6 content I loved and work towards styles feats over the coming months until more T7 content is released. Instead, due to the recent update, I have now unintentionally put myself in a hole that I cannot get out of. What will I do with my gaming time now? Within a couple hours I will now be bored. It seems this is indeed the end of the game for me. Sad day. Anyway, thanks.

You may not get marks from it but you can still go after feats, and styles that drop from it plus just have fun running it. I run content all the time new and old when I am loot locked just for fun or to help a league mate. Plus you can look at it as a god time to work on an alt if you have one.

There is a way if you are willing.........smash your high gear. If it is no longer in your inventory it will no longer count against your cr and that content will become available to you again.

I actually tried out the CR calculator to try and avoid this later today. I want to get 2 vendor pieces, so I should be safe with the shoulders and 1 other lower piece. The head, chest, and legs will push me past 116 with anything else. I might also get the same DPS pieces too before my next healer pieces just to extend T6 a little longer. It's kind of awesome to have all those weekly raids for marks.

I would like to suggest the devs extend Elite Throne to 120 CR or something like that. I have never run it so maybe it is like normal after GU 47. For all my PUG runs, normal Throne was always a challenge. It would just be nice to have another weekly mark source after you hit 117.

False. Do not do this. Max CR will not decrease, even if you delete every piece of gear you own!

For me as a Member it is absolutely NO advantage to have early access. Actually I only get disadvantages:

- Less people to form groups with, so less chances to get hard content done for example
- More bugs which I have to experience which are likely to be fixed a week later when Premiums can by the Episode as well

I cannot believe I am the only one with Member status who thinks early access is ****. Especially the first point, that I have many people I can't play new content with for over a week is hitting hard. I already thought about just staying away from DCUO for that week because it is less fun. I have lots of Premiums in league which are very good players. They are pissed off, I am pissed off too.

really? I accidentally smashed a piece of my secondary roll gear and my cr dropped as a result. If you no longer have the gear how does your cr remain high?

I can understand not being incentivized to subscribe because of early access but I'm not sure early access is a reason for a member to be upset.

If you consider your second point early access, is and always has been on almost all platforms, a soft-launch strategy to look for issues. From early screenings of movies, to invite nights for restaurants to early access for games, the premise of giving exclusive access in return for running a system through the paces before unleashing it on the masses is a common model. The reasons for not wide-releasing should be clear but the two most obvious are: small issues, especially exploits, get magnified to an uncontrollable degree and the second is that when buying the episode but itself there's a different level of expectation of use than a sub would have.

If the argument is that issues should all be resolved on test, then I have to suggest that is not a reasonable suggestion. You will never find all issues in a closed environment, period. Especially when the incentive to run all aspects or at level is not there because players are not on their live accounts.

If you take into account that this week is about polishing as much as possible before next week then one generally accepts lower populations and glitches. If that's not your cup of tea then treat it like it hasn't happened and just enjoy next week.
So I get that it's not your desired approach but it's a model that is for the most part well received and has more pros than cons, so I don't see it changing anytime soon.

It's not reversible. Has been that way for a while to prevent folks from backing up.

There was a discussion in another thread about widening the CR window. I would suspect the metrics will be monitored quite closely as this is the beginning of a new tier. I would think if there is a huge drop in logins as players jump in larger droves out of the T6 window of content they will adjust accordingly. That being said the change after this episode to adding content in pieces monthly is likely in response to these concerns.

While I like the clarity of the new marks approach I really think there will have to be some tweeks over the next few months to keep the other tiers of game relevant as well as accessible to newer players.

As it bothers me not having Spanish forum to vent all that I have inside right now ... I have friends who no longer receive free marks intancias released because they have to have to buy new the DLC. Before playing could go slowly and get a bit of brands to go up a little of their CR until they decided to buy a DLC or legend..but be cut off suddenly have the chance, they met after the utter impossibility in update47 , unable to acquire marks ... for me it's a publicity scam "FreeToPlay" should put "FreeToPlayToLevel70". Should get more content for Free, new instances of low level...dont always DLCs..

Think also somewhat in free to play, give them new things and be sure that if you care and you will gain more members.

Como me fastidia no tener foro español y poder desahogar todo lo que tengo dentro en estos momentos... Tengo amigos free que ya no reciben marcas de las intancias que tienen liberadas porque para las nuevas tienen que comprar los DLC´s. Antes podian ir jugando poco a poco y conseguir de a poquito las marcas para ir subiendo un poco su CR hasta que decidieran comprar un DLC o hacerse miembros..Pero les han cortado de golpe las posibilidades, se encontraron tras la actualización47 con la imposibilidad total de avanzar, sin poder adquirir marcas... Para mi es un timo publicitario "FreeToPlay" deberia poner "FreeToPlayToLevel70". Deberian sacar más contenido para los Free, instancias nuevas de bajo nivel.

IMO the lock out CR for Throne, Hall, Labs should be higher, CR 118 maybe.

is this going to be the start of the "new content monthly" thing that i was reading about a bit ago? if so then i don't see any reason to panic. but if that's going to start in a while from now then people might get a bit salty...

Loot Choice

Players will now have the opportunity to choose what loot they receive from bosses. Upon defeating a boss, the player will be presented with a new UI that allows them to choose from a list of available loot. After the main choice has been made, the UI will then display all items received from the KO.

This has not been happening at all. Is it made for 1 player, 2 player, 4 player or raids? still collecting whatever is given/dropped no choice what so ever.
