Nerf the new DWF raid?

Well reset didn't help still couldn't get into a group, and annoyingly the only other raids that cropped up were elite versions of the two I didn't manage to run before it (BD and UM) so I spent all night achieving 1 duo run. I'll give it one last try this saturday in case more people log on in the weekend and not I think I'll stop playing for awhile. Maybe when people have elite gear for all 3 months content I'll be able to get into a group for the first months normal version, or maybe I'll just need to quit as the game just became pointless to subscribe too due to not being able to get into the only content I can run without complaints about my ruining lower CR's fun.

i gave up on the raid lol, not going to continue wasting hours on 1 thing when i can be feat hunting!

They did though. During OC, people dropped sub and left. There was no threat thread. Not even 30% of the players come to the forums. They just stopped. Population dropped. It caused a panic, as players stopped playing. it's why we ended up with the content being adjusted, gear handed to us in DLC8 and 9 via vendors. They were in need of bringing people back and in. It took a long time, but players trickled back. It's funny, everyone that "loves" hard content laments for OC and reveres it as gold. Everyone that wanted to play the game and stuck through it remembers it as a bad time in DCUO's history.

I think at this point, the best thing to do is:

- Reduce the difficulty of normal raid
- Keep elite as it is
- Reduce the item level of gear dropping in the normal raid to be 148 and have +10 stats depending on the type of gear they are (Controller, Healer, Tank, DPS)
- Keep 150 gear in Elite with better stats and the perks.
- Anyone who has earned gear so far from the raids gets to keep their gear at level 150 since they earned it from the content prior to the nerf.

This should keep me entertained for a few hours. Thank you.

I´m kinda conflicted at this point. Personally, i think that the Raid its fine as it is, but seeing the people in here who blatantly refuses to play as a team and step up their game, i´m starting to loose all hope that this community can improve as a whole.

At least i had the opportunity to enjoy this Raid as it was intended, and it was a blast.

How about we just no...? When rewards are what matters in content, what's the point. Just say, wait until next cycle. Seriously, you are asking for a flame while holding tinder and gasoline.

All it needs is a CR Differential change or just merely lower the CR of the content NPCs.

Also, A game is best they can do. Apparently you forget that A game for people may be a C game for you. Just saying.

It's funny how people still bring up OC as the terror and how many people that DLC caused to leave. It's funny how what I remember was LFG spinning like crazy of groups being formed for that content, every day, for MONTHS. People everywhere, I always had groups, no matter if I failed or not. Groups everywhere.

Please stop lying and exaggerating, I remember reading TONS AND TONS of "OH LAWD NERF NAOW PLZ!!!!"-threads here on the forums back then. Then content got easy, then easier, than easier again. Do you know what DECREASED during this transition from OC to pillow fight? The population. You can't deny it. And just look at the community today, calling for nerfs are still a big thing. We are now at page 77 on this thread alone.

I know right. Bunch of cry babies. Pew pew pew....I want to dps....we don't need 2 healers, two trolls, or two dps....pew pew pew...I don't want to run the 2222 team I want a 5111 team...more burn....we don't do feats...dps don't do pick ups...just burn...don't want to learn raid mechanics.....pew pew pew....

It's a joke now...cr King....no skill points...it's got to change or this game will be doomed.

People have left the game. PC server was on it's way of dying out before they merged. In regards to the t5 raids, I know a lot of players who quit playing around that time and have only just come back. It's easy to see that this game doesn't make the kind of money that it used to. They put all their coins in maintaining this crazy monthly schedule to please the elites, but yet we can't get any new legends? This game is hanging on the thread of replay badges.

Absolutely NOT.
If is the newest/latest raid and should be the hardest.

It has been beaten so it is doable. If a group can't complete it, they need to either gear up or change strat.

Usually agree with most things you say but respectfully disagree here. After being either in raid or looking for Groups for raid for a couple of hours most nights since this came out I finally beat first 2 boss fights last night, had a few cracks at Darkseid but it was half 12 & work this morning.

From a selfish point of view this leaves me in limbo. Chance of getting into an Group for Elite, & or doing anything while there, slim to none. So that leaves me with a PBesque raid for +10 might. With CR being king, hmmm. I am trying to get better. I don't expect high 5's for this but equally I don't expect to have this stunted in favor of people who may or may not be putting effort in. I am 167, top cr gear from previous raids, all crafted gear & now a 150 back basically 1 purple drop from being 168. This would be a major toe to the baws.

the raid is perfect on normal imo, kalibak was just nerfed but thats ok because he had something going on which made him ultra difficult, but everything else falls in line. The key to the raid is just to know your job and the mechanics. I have beat it with a solo troll for the 1st and last boss but everything has to fall in line. Gotta have tanks that are quick to pull and have elite awareness, gotta have healers that can manage power and not just power dump and heal, and have 3 dps that can focus when needed. if you have all that you can beat this raid right now from 164-166 cr with decent skill points.

They should nerf the normal raid now.
Its pretty clear that some players and pugs can't handle simple mechanics.
Most of us already know that the game appeals to people that just want to pew pew and tank and spank bosses without ever dying because oneshots are so unfair

If replay sales suffer, this will be nerfed.

So you just said you have to have tanks to have elite awareness. That would be fine is the raid was elite. Its the normal.
