Nerf me Good !!!! Please

That`s why i don`t have fun with this game anymore and i left. I much prefer and i enjoy more a mmo like ffxiv.

Until they add instance caps, I don`t care anymore about this game, it is not worth it to play. And with the veterans saying they don`t want it, it won`t help either so i just see no hope and i move on.

I rarely post in this forum anymore but this thread`s subject is of importance to me. This game will never get better i feel, so why bother. If you like this kind of game, play. But for those who don`t like it this way, play another mmo like ffxiv. You will be more happy like I am.
Dcuo is not worth the trouble because sadly it might stay this way...

The problem is that it still promotes replays. Most serious players will want to go for both the elite gear for the affinity and reg gear for the feat. It's a key point to make. The forced replays need to stop. I'm no longer supporting the game until they do.

But which types of content would they queue up for? My money would be most would only queue for 4mans, particularly the mass at T6. No replays needed.

stat clamping needs to be an option, so those of us who do not want it don't have to have it. Whats a bigger problem is people not knowing what feats are.

You know you can't have your cake and eat it too, you have to make a choice with the vendor gear, are you going to farm the elite gear for a stat boost or are you going to be satisfied with just farming normal.

If you're going to farm elite gear then you'll have to accept the fact you might be coming back to get those normal gear feats later.

Notwithstanding that point like I said, you only need to run one somewhat serious alt, to farm the vendor gear style on to then immediately transfer the feat to your main.

reading between the lines I'd hazard a guess what you want is for the "elite gear" to provide you with a shortcut to the feat attributed to the normal gear feat.

elite gear and normal gear have never shared a feat and have never shared the same grind, why should that change?

I actually think the feats for them should change. The problem comes down to how they are setup. Originally, it was more flavor for when you get the random drop and complete the alternate style. Now you have the option to get the elite gear first. By the time you get a full set of it, a new set would be coming out. So going to get the normal gear is pointless and you would be better off waiting for out of relevancy style vendor if they ever do that.

It's the same style, just a slightly different name and more shiny. I don't really see how having the normal feat attached to the elite feat is a bad thing. If you finish the elite, you already proved you have what it takes to finish the regular, therefore you should get the feat for that too. The current set up is stupid.

So if you want them to share the feat, you're happy for the people grinding normal gear to attain your title etc. etc. cause that's how that would work. Unless of course you're saying you should get both feats for the price of one?

You think when vendor gear came out it was supposed to halve your grind? You grinded out the elite gear before by running exclusively elite content but now that it's in vendor you want a shortcut?

Sure, because the titles are dumb.

How is it a shortcut? If you finish the regular, you won't get the elite feat. If you finish the elite set first, yes you should get the regular feat. Elite is harder to obtain and thus finishing that you already proved you have what it takes to grind out the regular set. Going back and grinding a set you technically already completed isn't of proper taste. Especially if you don't use replays.

Let's step back one second and look at what is actually being asked and what we both are seeing the question is.

We should be able to get the "normal" feat if we complete the elite set. Since it is 0 point feat. That shouldn't be an issue considering they are still using the old "every other week" lockout for elite content. And the gear cost is the same for both sets. If you follow the exact number of lockout, you would end up not being able to complete both sets before the next better set comes out.

What you see is us asking for a shortcut to getting both feats. That it is a two way street, you get normal and then you get elite feat. A simpler example would be, "You dang millennials want it all easier." This is simply not the case.

I personally think it should be you get one and you can get the other at an accelerated pace. If you look at it, it takes about 3 months w/o replays to complete one set. At 50% cost, that puts it at another 1.5 months to get the second set. Which would place it for how long this episode was supposed to last. That is still a lot of dedication, but it calculates well.

I still think that they need to separate the elite stuff from the normal in a way that they can achieve it w/o working with the grind. The shiny costume is cool and all, but personally, making a completely different vendor set is kind of overkill to the player that wants harder content. I would love to see something like an elite mod that can be purchased using the renown unlock and MoV. As an example, Elite Chest Affinity Olympian and it can be plugged into the normal chest. It could have a 0pt feat that has a checklist for each affinity mod piece in it.

Actually, it doesn't really get dull at all. I can do it all day and still have fun.

to me it gets quite dull, as their is no stimulation anymore

I gotta echo this feeling as well. I wanna feel like a superhero, being powerful is and should be the point. When you're fighting 30 or 40 adds to get to a boss, and they're all giving you a run for your money, how does that make you feel accomplished? How does a character like that fit in a world with guys like Superman and the Flash?

If you're playing this hoping for a challenge at whatever tier you are at, you shouldn't be in this game. That's not a judgment, it just doesn't fit with the dogma of the in game setting. Maybe you guys got used to fantasy style hack and slashers... but heroes in DC never have a tough time with flunkies, and they shouldn't ever have trouble with them.

Tbh ideky people go for the elite gear. Had this convo many times with my league. No1 can give a logical legit answer to why they grind it out other then "i want it." No1 needs the elite gear to beat any content. Those bonuses do nothing and do not make or break any player as far as finishing content. Elite gear is simply a style. Same stats as normal and same IL as normal. I chased the energy armor set and had an 8 piece bonus and it was worthless. Havent bothered with elite gear since except for a piece here and there and thats when it was drops. Some people think having elite gear makes them elite which i find pretty damn funny. All elite gear is is an oooo shiny that doesnt really serve any purpose. Why people chase it in its current form ill never know.

I could care less if they change the feat thing or not. I would like to see if anyone can give a logical reason why they NEED elite gear other then "i want it" or oooo shiny.

Elite I think is mostly bragging rights for many people. Although I have a friend that feels she absolutely needs it for her elite bonuses so she can be the best she can be. I only bought 4 pieces for the stat buffs, I don't see use for any of the C and D mods, especially for DPS.

Despite the motive people may have to buy it, I still feel it's unfair to not have the regular feat attached to it for reasons stated previously.
