Necks and possibly rings in the vault are not determined by role you go in.

I knew they were full of **** from the get go. It seems to me all they care about more and more is your money and hype noobies up to give it to them then make up excuses (now going on 3yrs) for why it is the way it is after they said differently.

LOLOLOL, another proof devs got no idea how they game work, do devs realize players can use any ring because are not role specific? then why that answer "You won't receive a ring or necklace you can't use - a tank won't receive a healer ring, for example", players can use any ring with stats of any role .

yea, me too, you guys are wrong on this one. Numerous times ive gotten for example troller rings, not sure which stance i was in but i was electric so im positive i wasnt in troller stance

I'm not trying to rub salt in your wounds Kitsue, but trying to give you hope. After about 2 days of farming the vault (used about 80 tickets) I finally got a perfect healer ring.

EDIT: So don't give up hope I guess? I think it was a fluke for me though, I got another dps ring that same day on the same character and a dps neck on my tank character.

80 tickets?!?!?!?!?! Are you insane? You are the prime example of why the devs stuck those rings in the vault..... I hate to be a broken record but more and more lately my record has been on the right track. THIS IS NOTHING BUT A MONEY GRAB!

I feel legitimately bad for the people who didn't have the rings and necks they wanted before this. There are none higher than 78 (like before), they are still random and don't give a **** what role you are (like before), and they drop less frequently than they did in the boxes (for me anyway). The only thing that actually changed with GU26 was the ability to pay SOE real money to attempt to farm them. Yeah. Did us all a huge favor there. Lastly, and please take this to heart, these items are not worth buying 80 vault tickets (are you nuts?) to get that 1 ring. What about the other hand? You spent all that money and are still missing half the amount of rings you actually need. Fail. Put them back in the boxes. Seriously. Just because some people have more money than sense (and apparently 0 patience) doesn't mean you should take advantage of that ignorance SOE. It's like taking a gambling addict to a craps game. Not technically your fault if he loses the house, but deplorable nonetheless.

Now people(I really want to use another word here but I can't) can spen unlimited amounts of money attempting to run the vault because you could run the vault 1000 times and buy 1000 tickets in one day.

Fair point. Now let me make another. If you aren't legendary, that choice is entirely up to you. You knew what you were losing, you had the opportunity to subscribe every single time you connected to your account. I have never paid an extra cent for a lockbox. I am legendary for the capless money and the replays/loyalty points. I speak from my experience in saying I truly don't understand how players can be premium in T5 content. It would drive me insane. That being said, yes it has always been 100% free (for me). Anyone in a different situation truly has no one else to blame for that. You made that call, and cannot turn around and use that as a point to justify this on behalf of SOE.

My biggest issue was only mentioned in passing...I thought when switched to vault the would also shift cr ceiling to T5 . Ran vault 20 times to get an 85 ring...yes I am an idiot...yes I should have waited until someone I knew got a ring...and would tell me they were the same 78 I have a bank toon full of.....

I'm pretty sure they will give us T5 rings right about the time DLC 8 releases to make up for the fact it will have no real content or the first GU after.

Oh, I know it's a money grab. And yes, I think people would think that what I did was insane, I'm ok with that. I wanted a perfect healer ring and instead of having to log in and play for hours and hours and hours just to get a box that may or may not contain what I wanted I decided to use the vault, it takes like 10 seconds to run and I can get some styles that I don't have either. For me it's a win-win. They give me 500 station cash a month I use it to buy tickets (or other things). And the last time I bought station cash it was one of those triple station cash days. Also, you do know that this game is a business right? They need to make money in order to keep the game up and running and to create new content. I look at it as I'm helping save the future of DCUO XD

im a ice dps and i get troller rings and neck. now being ice its dps or tank NOT a troller or healer. so i bought 10 vault tickets and just the last peice of sharp shooter style dropped out of 10 vault runs....so sad

I don't appreciate having one of my perks for being legendary transferred over into a vault to make money off you people. It pissed me off to no end that I have to lose out on getting rings in my lockboxes because they wanted to get you people to waste hundreds of dollars on vault tickets. That's is why im pissed.
