Necks and possibly rings in the vault are not determined by role you go in.

For those of you who thought you might get Gold Neck/Rings based on your role when you enter the vault, here's a little fun yet unsurprising twist for you. So consider this a warning for those thinking it'll be a simple farm..

This was after 16 vault visits.

That was a dig at the devs btw, not you. I'm starting to not listen to a word the devs say from now on, just recently with their updates they have been very.... Well meh.

Yep because here is what is in the update notes
"Vault Update
The Vault now has a chance to drop rings and necklaces that were previously found in Promethium Lockboxes. These ring and necklace rewards players receive are based on current combat rating level and role. Additionally, we have removed the bombs and have made the boxes easier to destroy. Queue up for the Vault for your chance to grab these rewards!" was in the notes posted by mepps.

So either there is a bug that caused that or they lied about the rings and neck dropping depending on your role.

Might be just a lucky person because for me, I rarely get anything good from the vault.

Just did a vault run with my main and what did I get? Egyptian chest piece and Demonic shoulders. In other words, the same garbage I always get and have been getting since day 1.

I though the least they could have done was fixed the ridiculous setups some of these things have. I just got a Controllers pendant of relief... which adds health when you're hit... in tank role.

I better be lucky, spent real money trying to get something and I've been straight out lied to by the devs. Also, on a side note, if I could salvage items from he vault, good god would I stop complaining. Easy materials and feats just by running into the vault. and for anyone who says "well that's pay to win" that's exactly what vault tickets are in the first place.

So I can get a perfect healer ring that's level 53? I'd stop playing the game entirely.

You will always get something that's scaled with your CR but you may not always get something based on your role

Was actually looking forward to this part for the chance to get something of my role for once on characters... Maybe they lied or maybe it's just a mess up and will fix it with a hotfix.

Oh, I'm aware of that, was just playing along with the last quote is all, haha. I was honestly looking forward to something decent, I lied to myself and bought the vault tickets in false hope. After getting that neck piece though, I had to let everyone know before they all suffer the same disappointment.

Can the devs just make it so we get atleast 4 drops every vault run. If we were getting more vault drops, people might actually get something they can use for once.
