Nature & Rifle = an explosion of brussel sprouts!?!

    And the annoying cracking sound that lasts forever! XD Sometimes I use the Event Horizon with my Quantum Troller just to annoy the DpS if they get too cocky! lol :p

    Kinda off topic here, but...why does a nature DPS encase/stun? And please, no sarcastic remarks...a DPS should not be able to CC like a Controller

    Harvest stuns and just gives an animation of an encsement. It's not an actual encasement. The stones are much different from the type of stuns and knockbacks you can get from weapon combos. The reason is because Nature's AM is vulnerable to lunge and NPCs love to lunge. It helps make AM viable in solos and duos. Otherwise you would get slammed very quickly before you spread poisons. It's not as powerful as a controller CC effect because the low dominance of a DPS means a very short duration.

    I understand it's not a "true" encasement, but fact of the matter is it CC's...and I understand, ok, Nature's AM is vulnerable to interrupt, but all powers/ roles are able to CC in duos and solos, no problem. So what of other power's AM that are also vulnerable o interrupt? Shouldn't their moves CC as well? Take Fire for instance. That AM is centered around casted powers, those that take 3-4 seconds to land, with a character being vulnerable for the entire duration of a casted power (unless jump cancelled) but none of Fire's powers (or any other DPS powers from my experience) are able to CC in alerts/raids like Nature can. I'm not complaining here, and I understand the logic, but you gotta understand my logic too...a DPS should not be able to CC in raids/alerts, period. That's what controllers and tanks are for.

    It's a bit too much if you ask me...a DPS stunning a group of, for example, 8 adds in an operation??? A DPS? Really...? Kinda OP (in the purest meaning of the word) if you ask me...UNFAIR!

    There's probably a bug. Being able to CC in a solo/duo is fine. As far as alerts/raids, you should ask SOE if their DOM/WILL check is working properly. I won't speak to Fire since I don't play fire. When Tunso first mentioned the Fire AM to me, he made it sound like it should be knocking targets around a lot, balancing out their vulnerability for interrupt.

    I haven't seen this sort of CC imbalance in the new content (WotL 2), so I'm going to assume it has been addressed. It was just crazy to see a group of 5+ adds get swallowed up in venus flytraps in an alert, not a solo or duo, and I have seen this happen on multiple occasions from different people, and was like "whaaaaaa...???"
    Fire has a few nice juggles, one massive juggle in Flame Cascade but no real "stun" like Nature. Works well, I suppose. I'll post something on the Bug forum, hopefully a dev will take a look at it, if it hasn't been fixed already. A DPS should not be able to stun in an alert or raid...

    It's a very quick tangle of vines. I use staff, so it makes more sense.

    I agree, Vine Lash and Bloom need new anims, tho.

    It's from back when DCUO 1st came out. The 1st 6 powers. They tried to give them balance through similarity, and also the 1st 6 powers were able to interact with ALOT of other powers. They have 'does heavy damage to encased' PI's. They were going for a player to other player interactive combo back then. As opposed to mostly self interactive PI's like the newer powers

    The AM seems to have knockback, knock down, stun, etc... For all AM powers. The CC is minimal from what i've seen, Even the nature encasement from harvest doesn't last very long cuz of low dom. I know for open world 100 dom allows you to use your CC interactives for all powers.
