You remove the scoreboard and you just create a whole mess of new problems and don't really solve any of the old ones. Nature would still suck and require Dev attention whether or not it existed. People would notice the difference between a run with 5 ice/earth/Sorc/gadgets/atomic DPS and 5 nature/electric/HL
I play all roles and put blame where it's due. And can't heal stupid is real, if you're stupid stand in a heavy damaging aoe and die that's on you, or in bdr(e) black hand shoots out that ball and instead of blocking or moving far from the target that's on you as well not the healer or tank. If there's 10 plus adds surrounding the tank and a dps decides standing between the tank and those adds is a smart idea again that's the dps fault. As I've said everyone's actions affect each other. The reason why it may seem tanks healers and trolls blame dps for everything is there are many dps with the mindset that healers can instantly heal any amount of damage and they never get stunned or attacked themselves, the tank will be the only one that ever gets hit. When in reality scripted attacks that make tanks lose aggro mean healers occasionally have to block, get stunned or have to move and tanks can't hold aggro 100% of the time. If adds are floating about the room and killing everyone I blame the tank, if I'm dying from the occasional light hit because I'm never getting healed if both the tank and/or healer can't do their role from lack of power and aren't spamming I'll blame the troll. But 99% of the time if I die while I'm dpsing I'll blame myself because my job is to kill as fast as I can and my dps is 0 if I let myself die
I have seen this a couple times. Do you know how they do this? Nature's DOT's are pretty powerful! Way better than electric. To top the scorecard, Nature toons run out ahead of the crowd and apply their dot's before the other dps arrive, this gives them more time to do damage before the burst crowd arrives. Very effective. Nature is also a effective battle healer. This does not work for electric because it's damage over time is terrible.
I want balance between power sets. I want Nature to have equal potential to any other powerset. But if you honestly believe you are unable to DPS current content at all? You're a bad player who spreads exaggerations around.
I dps with rage, and it sucks, not like nature or eletric, but it sucks, people just can't wait, devs already said when nature was going to be buffed, if there were no plans to buff nature, fine, no problem with complains, but there is a plan, just wait...
The last 3 updates was gadgets (forgot if there was another power), a fix for gadgets, and now mental. I'm guessing the next will be ice. How can that not be frustrating? And the devs said hl/elec/nature would get a buff in s hotfix I think rage is only a step above nature. I've seen 1 nice rage dps on the usps villain name Gringo
Because they need to adjust weapons first, or the pet/dots powers are going to be overpowered, they can't just increase nature/eletric damage to have to fix it again and again.
Not to mention that if it gets adjusted too high again the expectation will become that it should ALWAYS be that overpowered afterwards...
What about fixing one power at a time like they're doing now? After this what next 1 weapon at a time? People are getting frustrated. More not frustrated because of respec tokens. A player shouldn't have to buy respecs or just run support because the devs not moving with urgency.
They can't move with urgency, or its going to be the same as when WM was introduced,soon everything will be fixed, people just need to wait, getting frustrated doesn't helps, i think people feel good complaining because they want to say the devs team sucks, nature/eletric people have been running support roles for a long time, why they just started complaining because other powers are being fixed first?
Nature has been running support, but i don't see a lot of electronic healers. The forums are for people to complain, weren't you complaining about how easy the content is? Why is your complaint ok, but not the hl/nat/elec dps. I might have missed, but i didn't see anyone talk about the dev team
All I'm saying is I've seen electric do the same thing as you described nature doing. They both need tweaks but in the long run they aren't as bad as everyone says
Sorry but this is false, you cannot heal stupidity. If as a dps your health falls below 25% and you know there is a solo healer its only common sense to block or take a soda. If you dont do any of those and just continue firing away and die, its not the healers fault. If the boss drops an AOE under him and you are standing right next to the boss, thus standing too close, or the boss does a haymaker, thus standing too close, a healer is not going to heal through that kind of stupidity. A healer knows when 1 or 2 dps in particular are taking more damage than normal by standing too close to the boss where the boss splash damage on the tank is hitting them. There is the basic rule of the healer in all MMOs, heal tank first yourself second, and dps third. But all of this can be avoided by good group communication
LOL electric is not top tier. However fire tanking is a yes. Electric healing still has many balance issues that puts it behind other healing powersets. Electric is still one of my favorite powersets and I hope it gets a complete overhaul on all sides.
Yes it is if done right. The issue ppl have is power management. If done right you wont use a lot of power
