I will remain positive regardless. I do think the content will be better since they don't need to rush it. I didn't know you then or now so as far as the "No one listened to me" statement, I don't know how it's relevant.

Yeah its awful news, We will get ep26 this July and get nothing until December at the earliest and January latest. I expect 5 months realistically with a monthly episode to entertain us.

So you only have 1 monthly episode to run on your account. That's sad.
I have everything from t1 thru latest content.

Don't need to rush it? Did you even comprehend my post? They'll spend the same development on the same block as they have been. Why? Because content is developed in parallel not in series. For example Episode 24-26 would have been developed roughly at the same time. If this were a larger release Episode 24 content would just have waited until the rest of the content was ready for release. The initial shift to monthly content was to allow for a "if it's ready then release it" policy. That is because Episode 24 content would have scheduled a bit earlier when it was done the content would be released instead of waiting for any other content. That was the same reason powersets were taken away from content to allow for this same kind of policy.

So Amazon Fury Part III (Episode 27) is not an exception? The whole part of Mepps specifically saying that content within these larger releases would be varied was a lie?

how did you get all of that from large content releases?
all they've said is they won't do monthly content. the most we should assume is that it may mean higher quality content..

They have stated more then a few times now they are not doing more walk in stuff because they cause too many bugs. Just look at paradox right now

Your last few sentences. Ive always felt they announce things to get people hyped up and excited and to stick around. For example if u were thinking about leaving for another game because of the way progression works in dcuo and then they come out and say "a new alternate progression system is coming" then that obviously would intrigue u and u might think well i will stick around and see what that is about. But then u find out its probably a year or longer from it actually happening? Huh?

I also think a good # of players think the stats matter thing should of happened before the game went to xbox. I know i did. Changing it back so soon for those new xbox players will be confusing and it can have the affect of turning players away. Someone might say "a direction change already?" And then if they go look at the history of the game on pc/ps they see there seems to be a direction change to the core of the game every year. Some look at that as they cant figure out what the game is supposed to be or the other changes were bad decisions and it has to be changed again. Plus xbox just seemed rushed. Every day for 2 weeks when i pulled up my launcher i saw xbox down or xbox serve restart. Im sure that didnt go over well with brand new players. Im not trying to be negative here, just calling what i see.

I heard mepps on the source cast on friday said they arent going to announce things way in advance anymore. That is a good thing imo. I just wonder why it took so long to figure out that doing those announcements for so far into the future wasnt helping things. Especially if something gets delayed by a long time or put on hold indefinitely. I also heard him say stats matter will most likely happen before AF3. I really hope all of this works out. But im with ya on why water wouldnt work right because of the stats matter change. Idk maybe im missing something. Cause like u said, there are how many powers already live and those arent being taken out of the game for the stats matter change.

Does anyone have #s to support that? On pc/ps it for sure seems like there are more players because we merged. But if before cross play there were 50k ps and 20k pc (example #s) then all crossplay did was bring those players together. It doesnt mean it brought in new players or brought old players back. Im sure it might have. But other players leave for whatever reason. And ofc xbox brought in new players. But since april til now how many of those brand new players are still around on xbox? If it brought in 500k new players but only 20k are still playing? I just wouldnt call that growth and the game getting bigger. Ofc i could be completely wrong. But id like to see some #s showing the game has gotten bigger before id make that statement. And im guessing we wont ever see those #s. Because the census only shows characters created and not active accounts. So i guess its 1 of those we can never know things

I choose to give the devs another shot due to this decision and hope they make the most of it. You choose to keep posting increasingly negative comments and obtuse personal attacks over a video game opinion.

You don't know the inner workings or there plans, so you are no more of an expert than I am. I am hoping they see the post and maybe get some ideas from it. That's the idea

Yea i would be happy if i were u as well i mean all is new for u so u got tons of things to do + now u dont have to spend a peny to play gr8 news for new players .
My point of view is a bit dif i got almost all SP and im geting bored after 2-3 weeks everytime they adding something new.
I play on few toons so i dont reset instance much and still game is boring after 2-3 weeks .
Bigger content right im gona get bored after 2-3 weeks i already played those 3 months plans content im here from 2011 so for me its step back and not good news .
I would be happy if devs work on power balance "hey no new content but we will do power balance i mean real power balance not BS like we have atm" .
I already start playing other games and then devs said new content every month so i stay here at DCUO .
Its not hard to guess im not gona w8 3 or more months for new content and i will not farm 5 mil exo or ..... like that ,
Im gona play other games dont know its good or bad but thats what gona happend .
Im a bit jealous for new players DCUO might be "games paradise" but after some time there is always that moment that u have nothing to do and its closer then ever

All im gonna say is keep your expectations low. If the new large content dlc meets your expectations than you wont be disappointed. But if its even a little better than you will be more satisfied.
