It happened with Starro Conqueror... it happened with Doomsday... it happened with the Giant Robot... it happened with the Shadow Golem... what makes you think Metal Man-bat will be any different? In a few weeks after lots of people have finished the major spam sessions it will all go back to normal.
If you want to go back further also happened with sub-avatars and T4 raids vengeance and blackdown. We are talking years and nothing as been done.
The easiest fix available is to turn your effects all the way down under your "settings"... that way your system doesn't have to draw everything, given that it's all happening rather quickly.
