Merging factions

It needs to be done, no more “suicide squad” type runs, we all know villains side is less populated than the heroes side and with the recent suspensions/bans that are going to happen it means less players for both sides, no matter if it is more or less on one side we still need this merge of factions as it will benefit everyone that actually plays the game, it will help people find groups for what they need spam/feat/completion/bounties/trades/etc

You devs gave up trying to do these faction differences in episodes so at this point what is the point of being a villain or hero if we all are doing good deeds anyways. So i think its about time we merge and get **** done together as one

I imagine they'll capitalize on a big dramatic story on why heroes and villains need to work together in the near future and it will likely happen.

Step 1 was the suicide squad.

Step 2 is the shared safe house.

Step 3? Probably a big brainiac world ending event where we become one completely.

I think maintaining separate factions is still a good idea, but removing grouping restrictions between would accomplish exactly what you're talkin about, without having to rework major portions of the game infrastructure to actively dissolve the walls between the two factions.

    Yes
Walls up, but dont restrict invites.
Grouping easier and i can stay a villian and heroes can stay heroes (there is some fun points to this at least there used to be)

The end of Death Metal actually sets up step 3 directly, with the heros and villains working together to move the future of Earth in an overall mutually beneficial direction. Considering the current episode is based on Scott Snyder's Justice League run and Death Metal immediately followed, I think you're onto something.
