It needs to be buffed. As a mental player i love the SC I've even coined it "Super Ghost Kamikaze attack" But it is extremely flawed. Face it Devs is a glorified DOT and not even a very strong one. compare i to other SC's such as; blizzard, Strafing Run, Bunker Buster, etc the instant burst generated by those are higher than a moved with doubled SC cost. not to mention buffs such as Carnage, Bloodlust and inspiration offer a better buff since the also offer stat buffs like precision as well as crit chance . how is it that if i use Strafing run (50%SC) clip with inspiration i am able to do a significant amount more dmg than someone who has a full 100% SC going. KEY POINTS >>Risk vs Reward --if the player or all ghost die then the SC is then discontinued so it even has a larger window for being even less effective. >> Damage -- most of the time i see a bunch of two digit number floating around in a game where Fan can Crit north of 20k sometimes hardly seem balanced. >>The way to fix it is to not only make it a 50% SC but it should hit harder than all 50% SC because of its risk vs reward factor meaning that if my blizzard w/ WM crit constantly hits 30k during the druation of my MH 30k-40k dmg needs to occur regularly and also the time should remain 1 min because it in order to keep its balance it should only be effective in boss battles.
Ice transformation lacks movement. Maybe because it's so big where as Mass Hysteria is a skinny reaper. Point is I'll prefer Mass Hysteria than Ice Transformation because it's more agile. Idk haven't been either one in like a year or two lol
No no lets not do that , its an iconic mental power and the only 100% SC. First of all its actually been very useful at times. Heres what I think they should implement. Perhaps a new loadout bar , you can do this by essentially doing away with invisibility. An additional new power a 35- 50% sc which causes the ghosts to merge into a giant ghost capable of doing heightened damage/Each ghosts gives out a small amount of power every 20 secs.They should have increased defense and health. Initially attack like backup.I want to see horrific visage work like Faust's finisher.
If it worked, that would be one thing, right now? It's too much out for too little back. Its current form is bulky to the point of functional uselessness.
Well it has been very essential in alerts in that they taunt the boss. The sc has helped us so many times against Fatality,and back in the day in TD last boss this was the winner. Ofcourse I agree that theres a lot more needed to make this power a fan favorite and useful in raids .I remember those days when I had an armoury just to accomodate MH and terroize .I generally bring them out with backup.
Shrug, if it works for you, it works for you? Something like that. I can think of other things I'd rather have but my Mental DPS side isn't very 'backup' oriented, so that difference in approach is a major part of things by itself. I think it either needs to cost half what it does right now, or it needs to be improved somewhat.
Well that will free up a slot on the tree for a new power. I heard MH doesnt break invisibility. I would also like the ghosts to do encasements when one of them died or cast an aoe damage lol. I think mental's AM should never have based on Amplifying but should be a unique one centred on its Scs.
Yes that would be a welcome change aswell. I see you are pointing to the fact that as a dps it provides so little at such high cost. I would like it to be buffed for improving your dps or perhaps work as a very cool support power.
Also i've like to add that i believe Menance could be used like ice's ice bash doing dmg while also granting a nice crit buff EDIT: I'd also like to add widen the range of all MASS moves since mas lev will not always hit all the enimies it is aimed to hit
