Mental DPSing

Based on what analysis/numbers? Not being a dick, I'm genuinely wondering.

If you are Rage try to melee all NGN and you will see a lot of damage that you will take but if you want parses you can go on PC Test and prove yourself there. I saw 2 times in NGN and LW Rage melee outdpsing Gadgets and Mental. No pug group!

No access to pc test since I'm ps4 server. I'm actually more interested in your pet comments being top dps over gadgets and ice. If you have parses or can reference someone else's work on damage testing, that'd be appreciated.

If doing live tests, I might recommend top tier raids as a better means of comparison. Being over geared in L&W could cause bias in the numbers as adds may drop too fast. Same for NGN to a degree. HH or BP would be preferred test scenarios

Oh great another whole alpha and omega power conversation has begun. Every time a power gets an update like now in 51, somebody says its op and then the chaos begins. I could switch back to mental and easily out dps half of the people that switches to earth and sorcery. Do u know y??? Oh yeah that's because half of the people that hear a power is op thinks they can use it easily like putting waffles in a toaster. Then once they realize they can't use the power or the power isn't still up to par (cough) electricity) or anything else that's rumored to be * op * it's to late lol you've waisted 10 bucks.

If u can top ice using electric I'll buy you a respec token lol I do agree on the whole switching powers but this is what devs what because it sells

If you are Mental and you get out DPS'ed by any power other than Ice or Gadgets you're doing it wrong.
Even without the "exploit", you should be golden.

I recall a fire dps out damaging a mental 1 week ago in bombshell and the mental was using the right loadout. I was celestial so they went head to head lol. but i guess fire has been forgotten as well as other powers that start with an S, Mu, and Q. I get that mental is great, but im pretty sure when u come across that certain person with the powers that i've mentioned they could possibly out dps mental as well if they're loadout is right and not just ice and gadgets. I honestly haven't really seen an earth dps yet.

What game are you playing? Or are you talking about duos? Because in end-game raids the Mental super clip beats everything else including Ice, Gadgets, and both pet powers.

and when I say end-game I dont mean lab, throne, NGN, HH, HoH, solo's, duos, or alerts.

I mean bombshell paradox. If it cant be done there then its not viable, and til I see footage its not viable.

Your sentence in brown is correct DPSox. It is currently IMPOSSIBLE for you as a COMPETENT Mental player to CONSISTENTLY out-damage an EQUALLY-COMPETENT Ice Player. My Video is the proof!



Player Stats:

Arctic Beam: 131 (CR), 237 (SP), 12.6k+ (Might)
BigDaddyDru: 131 (CR), 224 (SP), 12.6k+ (Might)

As you can see, the differences in Stats between Arctic and Dru is very miniscule. They are both insanely powerful and skillful DPS players and therefore essentially EQUALLY-COMPETENT at their respective powers. However, Arctic, simply being a more damaging power, was STILL CONSISTENTLY the TOP DPS Power throughout the Raid.

If the Ice Player you out-damaged possessed HIGHER Stats than you, but you STILL out-damaged him, that Ice Player was simply put, bottom line > INCOMPETENT!

to a degree I agree, he's 1 of those types that like to switch powers if he gets out DPS'd by a power.

Which he asked after the raid if he should go mental, I told him no b/c it's getting nerfed soon, which idk if it is or not but I dont want him going mental because Im mental, he did the same thing with quantum and ice. Which is why hes even ice b/c I wrecked him with ice lol and he had over 60+ SP' more then me. Had over 6-8mil more then he did in dmg out.

The Greatest Players in the game are those who have MASTERED a Power inside and out (Both DPS AND Support Role). Observe the following video examples:



Being able to Solo Barda & Miracle in Fatal Exams at 126 ECR requires ABSOLUTE Mastery of One's Power. As you can see in the above video, any capable player CAN solo them both using JUST their Support Role, but that takes ENTIRELY too long (as seen in the video).

And you DEFINITELY won't be able to Solo them as JUST a DPS player. The fight will definitely be over much faster that's for sure, but with you being the one getting killed instead of you doing the Killing.

In order for you to Solo these two Bosses at 126 ECR in an EFFICIENT manner, it's going to require ABSOLUTE Mastery of BOTH your Support Role AND your DPS Role.

The result....



Sadly, your DPS friend will most likely never be able to fathom these kind of performances. It's just another prime example of what separates the Élite & Competent from the rest of the Community.

Feel free to stay with Mental > You have my videos as proof that it is truly an Incredible power once it is FULLY Mastered (Both Troller AND DPS).

Oh I dont plan on switching unless smoke, darkness, or black lantern troll power comes out lol

no seriously I'd say screw it and take gear off just to finish with DPS' burning the bosses.

only reason I say that is b/c I run T1-T6 stuff for prestige atm for my league to get the league perks so time is ticking when I log on.
