Yeah, I guess I'm still trying to get past my former league leader telling me how I had to spend my replay badges to keep characters he specified up on their skill points. With the number of skill points available these days, those replay badges disappear fast.

Just because you set the parameters doesn't mean people have to follow it to the letter. The ONLY rules that have to be followed are the ones set forth by Mepps and the forum moderators...which people are following. People are having a sincere conversation with you, but you refuse to acknowledge their answers because you're not getting agreement from them...you didn't want a conversation, you wanted an echo chamber.

Yep, which is why I think adding this new benefit for subscribers would be an easy and obvious slam dunk-- as well as being a great way to promote Style Unlocking overall.

They're not arguing in bad faith, they are arguing counter to your restrictive set of rules which ignore the obvious which you've decided to dismiss because it is inconvenient. There's a difference....and everyone in this thread sees it.

As a few people pointed out, the likelihood that the company would even consider this idea (after having spent the time carefully considering their prices) are so ridiculously low that you'd have a better chance getting two Flaming Phoenix Feathers to drop for you back to back. At this point, it would be better to just abandon this idea and maybe go with what Zneeak said, suggest that prices for the most expensive unlocks be reconsidered/lowered down...that's a lot more realistic than this.

You are right, but unfortunately i have seen people spending up to 2000$ for virtual goods in MMOs.

I don't think that anyone could argue that point and it's a very valid one at that. DCUO needs to look at the cost to replay instances too.
87 replays to reset a raid when subs get 150 is not much of a perk.

Adding a new unneeded currency to do what replays already do...not likely. Besides, they want you to use your replays...and they would love it if you bought more every once in a while (who are we kidding, every week please). So if you feel like this might encourage you to buy some OR to finally use your stockpiled badges...working as intended.

We could discuss it to the moon and back...much like the cash cap if it doesn't immediately benefit the company it likely won't be considered. As it is, it's not just 150 replays we get every month...there's the 500 Loyalty points/DBC that can be used to buy more replays as well. Just because some people here forget about it or outright dismiss it doesn't mean they haven't taken that into account when making their decisions.

Sure, but even with the 500 currency, that adds another 150 replays each month or 350 every two months. That's still only 25-32.5 skill points per month. That's not a lot with the number of feats in the game now.

Man, don't EVER let someone else tell you how you should be playing a game. If it works for you then screw what some "league leader" thinks. Sounds like a tool.

I don't think another currency is a good idea, I'm just stating as an "at most" example. I don't think it would be a good option from a business standpoint.

The replay badges members get every month are freebies, not "Have all these badges so you never have to buy them on our market place". Feats can be earned without replay badges. They're not just gonna fast track everything for you because you subbed.

Well, as was clocked earlier in the thread by Wilder Midnight, there can be a curious penchant for contrarianism and shooting down ideas out of turn as well as looking for ways to obfuscate/ derail, etc. I truly don't believe those sorts of posts are done in good faith and I don't think they deserve to be treated with much more than a dismissal. A disagreement is fine, but going in with an intent to simply muddle the waters doesn't help anyone imo.

I understand your point, but I also feel like the subscription perks have diminished in value over the years as other ways to use those perks have been added without new ways to earn additional perks. I know from experience that the microtransaction model tends to push some people toward just playing as a Premium player most of the time. If players have to pay extra into the game for all this stuff whether subscribed or not, why not pay less for all microtransaction items and skip the subscription model?

The other poster didn’t nail it, they used anecdotal evidence to mis-classify what what were actually stellar counterpoints. When you only agree with the people in this thread who agree with you, you show your bias, which hurts your cause greatly. Great leaders and thinkers surround themselves with opposition, not like-minded thinkers, lest they wanna be left forever in stagnation.
