Members Should Get One Free Style Unlock Per Month

Styles aren't worth replay badges to me. I would rather spend them on replays. To circumnavigate using my mothly badges I want the devs to add additional freeness so that I can use my free currency elsewhere.

We get free style unlocking for free with each lockbox, too (okay, maybe not each lockbox since we tend to get styles we already have, but it does help). Lockbox rates went up for members in the latest update. I think that's a great change.

I have been saying for a while that replay badges included in membership benefits don't go as far as they used to, so the value has decreased. I wouldn't mind seeing us get more replay badges each month to increase their value to what they were when the subscription model originally changed to include them.

It's not about begin fickle and contrary. It's about us not agreeing to the idea which is fine. As I stated and many more for a few times already, we already technically get a free one. You can't deny the free replay badges no matter how you try. It is a member benefit.
However I'm not against reducing prices, but I myself have no issue with them.

Not really. Style Unlocking is a new feature and a new opportunity to use it as a potential subscriber benefit over and above what's already included.

At the most, they could create Style Badges that members could get every month, that way replay badges wouldn't get spread so thin, but free style unlocks doesn't seem like a thing that would happen.

Or they could just increase how many replay badges we get a month as subscribers. They are necessary for unlocking loot locks in content, unlocking feats on other characters, and now unlocking styles on other characters. 150 replay badges aren't worth nearly what they were when replay badges were first introduced.

I think increasing replay badges for members should at least be considered. I'm not saying it has to happen or I expect it to, but I'd like to see it discussed more.

Putting in my 2 cents as a premium player (for many years), I'm all for this. It would help the incentive to switch to a sub for players like myself.

However, it's an expansion on a system already in place. A system for which we already receive a subscriber benefit. Just because there are more places to use that subscriber benefit, doesn't mean we should expect more free. We didn't get extra repay badges or a separate free month feat unlock when feat unlocking became a thing, and we can't expect that now with this new system.

Would you still be asking for this if the Devs had been extremely generous and the highest cost style maxed out at 87 replays? Probably not.

The issue with that is that members get a freebie of a market place item every month. It's an item they want to sell for real currency. They're probably not too inclined to give us a bunch for free so we can spam stuff as much as we want. The freebie is there so members don't have to purchase as many badges as non-members, depending on how much members want to spam stuff. Mostly everything you can unlock with replay badges (feats, styles) you can still unlock without replay badges, so I don't see them just giving out more because people don't want to play an MMORPG the grindy way.

Right, as I posted earlier, I wrongly assumed people would be posting in good faith and not looking for a silly loophole/ derail option. It occurred to me to post it in the OP pre-edit but I wanted to think better of folks. Anyway, I added it about two minutes after I posted.

I don't have good faith in something that I don't see how I can get benefit from.
And if I don't see it, and others don't see it, I'm sure the developers won't see it either.
We're only disagreeing with you, and some does agree with you, were all voicing

Here's an alternate idea I pose to you and anyone else taking the time to read this:

Let's say the company even considers this "suggestion"...a Free Style Unlock per month for Members...would you be ok with this as a Legendary Perk compensation for say premiums getting a reasonable bump to their cash cap per Episode purchase?

On another note, you can't just outright dismiss membership perks like they don't matter or are insignificant just because you're not willing to wait until the math is on your side. What I mean is calling 150 monthly replays "a handful" is a bit misleading and shortsighted.

You get the aforementioned 150 replays and 500 Loyalty Points or Daybreak Cash (PC). Wait another month and you have 300 Replays and 1000 Loyalty Points/DB....use those and buy 350 replays and you have a total of 650 replays in 2 months. That gets you an OG Aura on another toon. Considering the number of threads with high page counts bemoaning the fact that Replays and/or Loyalty Points/DB have zero or next to zero value for many members, dismissing this as an option offhand diminishes your argument. And your argument is any form of "can't wait that long" or "we deserve....", it's not going to fly. Don't want to wait that long, buy extra replays...think that's a "waste" of money, say your member perks for just two months and boom...get what you want.

I can see that. I'm sure there are a lot of other folks who feel this way.

I wouldn't mind this as our membership has been feeling more and more lackluster the older the game gets and the more cash grabs get added. 150 Replay badges was really neat when all we had to use them on was replaying content like raids. Tho with all the Alt. Features being tied to them too like how it costs to unlock feats and costs to unlock styles, or if you want to use them for personal use say to catch up on a seasonal, do a catalyst run, etc. the 150 a month are getting spread pretty thin compared to before. Having additional perks added to make membership look more appealing I'm all for. The 500 Loyalty Points I also seem to blow through alot faster nowadays than before because I need Seals for my Artifacts, Stabilizers to increase odds of getting feats tied to those cashgrabsules, then if you need supplies, more replays, or anything else you are pushed ever further towards digging deeper into that wallet. It used to feel like we got plenty and I always felt the 150 RB and 500 LP was always very fair, until cash grab after cash grab became the name of the game.
