[MegaThread] Ideas to solve the Money Cap issue

I am going to be making a thread were people can come up with ideas that satisfy both premium and legendary players

Rules:

1. Please only constructive criticism

2. I will be updating this post/thread with up to date info, modifying it to suit the needs of the community

3. This thread will be complete when a agreement on a solution by the premiums and the subs can both agree on.

This wont end well just an fyi. There is at least 100 of these threads out there, and the devs said they WILL NOT budge on the issue, its one of the reasons they are able to keep legendary up. If you need money, get interfaces and stack them until you need money.

There have been hundreds of threads on this topic, and this one will end as they all have - with people on both sides believing that they are right.

So, based on your thread title, you apparently believe there IS a money cap issue?? You must be premium then

Well maybe subs can get a experience boost and free boosts.

Still, the only way it changes is if everyone asks for it.


I ask you, there are many mmo's without cash limit and they survive, why this mmo?


By the way, i still expect some solution to help at least reduce the friction between subs and premiums.

Fine, how abot for every 20$ you spend your cap in increase by 500

Or if you want people to buy more make it for every 50$

Right now with gear not exceeding 2000 cash in price there is no major reason for a cash cap increase. The only part of the game requiring a large amount of money is R&D and that isn't that big as trading is an option or synthetic mods were added recently.

Would I like to see my escrow refill my wallet automatically if anything, yes. Is it a necessity for me, no.

How about instead put the exess money in a bank thats far away that you have to wait a long time / walk a far distance to get to, therefore making refilling your money a chore and giving escrow and subs a convienience value.

No, that is one of the legendary perks, thats why they are not going to do it.

Im sorry OP but this wont end well for you. Just give up now. People are so close minded they think lifted restrictions = perks. You can't convince those type of people no matter what you do.

Bank only for premiums

Fine, how about to us the bank one time you have to do a task that you kill 100 mobs your level, do 50 Instances your level, and 5 raids your level. After that only one person may use the bank at a time, creating a long line to use the bank.

Once you use it once its gone and you have to do the quest again, next month.

This will be so boring and boring that people will want to buy escrow or sub for convenience.

im sorry, the one thing ive noticed about being premium is (i was premium for a long time so i know what im talking about) repairing. its so irritating having to sell pieces of gear just to have enough money to repair your gear. what they should do is make it that when you repair your gear it uses all your money starting with whats available then takes the rest out of escrow. the other stuff you either trade for (like i did for a very long time) or you earn it

If this is honestly one of the developers main supply of income............. Well, we'll see what happens this fall and throughout 2015.
