Love the Marvel Movies storyline - ALL of it. From Captain America - the First Avenger, all the way up to Endgame. I'm optimistic that WB follows suit with Zach Snyder's Justice League and the SS movies - and allows a COHERENT storyline to develop. The seeds for such a thing ARE THERE.... Zach Snyder's JL should allow for a full-on Apokolips invasion movie.....OR - depending on how the next Suicide Squad movie ends - WB should allow for a COMBINED SS / JL movie to perhaps fight the SS2 Boss down the road. Would also love for WB / Disney to give ALL Comic Book fans something to watch - I would LOVE - in my lifetime - to see these two titans tangle on the Big Screen - along with their leagues - and hear Henry Cavill call Thor / Chris Hemsworth "The Goddess of Thundering Farts" A man can only dream.
Seeing that video (and the HUNDREDS of POSITIVE comments) "REALLY" drives home the divide - not only with WB but ALSO with what DC Fans want...what WB wants....what WB has produced THUS FAR in regards to DC movies. You have WB execs and even some DC Fans calling those of us who love Zach Snyder and his Justice League movie - 'TOXIC FANS". We have NO coherent storyline in DC movies. None. When Zach Snyder tries it with "HIS" Justice League movie he gets the rug pulled out from under him. Would Marvel "EVER" cut out an appearance of an Iconic African American Superhero at the end of one of THEIR movies? (See Wayne T Carr's Green Lantern)...... On top of THAT, you have the movement to bring Calvin Ellis Superman to the Big Screen - all the while totally ignoring the ORIGINAL Black Superman in Icon Would there EVER be a divide among Marvel Fans as to what a "Good" Marvel movie is? I still cannot fathom the divide from some even on HERE (DCUO Forums) as to why some don't like certain DC Movies (Zach Snyder's content), but yet some movies get INEXPLICABLE scores on Rotten Tomatoes (I can think of ONE movie that I won't name that got some pretty good scores but I could PERSONALLY only watch it ONE TIME.......and no I'm not talking about WW84, either. Nor the Joker movie. So...has WB given up on trying to match Marvel? I'm just talking about a COHERENT storyline.....sorta like when Nick Fury appeared at the end of Captain American The First Avenger......sorta like when Tony Stark appeared at the end of The Incredible Hulk movie.... I think you get it by now.... Also - why the seemingly Trolling nature of WB towards Zach Snyder? Why present an updated rendered version of Joss Whedon's Justice League JUST THIS WEEKEND but yet make no mention of Zach's JL? Why - during a DC movie marathon the last few days on TNT - show Joss Whedon's JL? That movie should be put to bed FOREVER, now....I think even the most die-hard Zach Snyder haters can agree that HIS version of JL was BETTER..... Is WB giving up? There is just SO MUCH positive energy coming from that Marvel Clip - not only the clip but ALSO the fans in the comments.....have seen NOTHING like that for DC and it's a shame.
In fairness, it was the fans sending death threats, and promises of violence to executives that he called toxic fans.
No doubt - I totally believe it. But - the MAIN ISSUE is that "ALL" Zach Snyder Fans are being lumped into being Toxic and that's FAR FROM the case. My love for Zach Snyder and his Justice League vision stops at love for the MOVIES and my hope that he gets to CONTINUE with his VISION. I don't do threats, I don't stalk and I did NOT call for boycotting my dude Godzilla and his latest movie, either. You have a SMALL subset of fans taking things too far - its not ME nor most of us. The extent of my fandom resides right here on the forums - trying to convince Willflynne and a few others of Zach's magnificence even if I have to twist their arms.
God I hope Disney buys DC.... Perhaps we COULD one day get a Superman - Thor meet and greet on the Big Screen - even though I think Thor matches up BETTER with Shazam - both being Lightning users and all........ EITHER would be EPIC.
C'mon Disney! Buy DC! Give us Justice League versus The Avengers on the Big Screen! Make Chris Hemsworth's son HAPPY!
And SEE? We can be certain that this is ZACH SNYDER'S Superman that is influencing Chris Hemsworth's / Thor's son. I'd guess that Ma and Pa Kent DID raise him right in the movies................................................
